Just A Nerd?

Chapter 11

Adam, Brooklyn and Liz are setting up all of the shots in the kitchen. I'm sitting in the living room with Nathan who arrived about five minutes ago.

"What's up with everyone being here?" He whispers and nods his head towards Liz.

"Well Liz has to stay with us for the rest of the school year." His face instantly drops. "Yeah I know..." I agree with his facial expression.

"As for Adam and Brooklyn, they just showed up. I didn't invite them and Nina has been in her room all morning, probably sleeping ." I explain and he nods.

"I wonder how everything is gonna work out because last time I checked everyone hates Liz." He observed.

I nod and look into the kitchen to see them walking back into the living room with a tray of shots. "Aww look at the new couple, cuddling." Liz says in a jealous tone.

I look down to Nathan's and I position. We were siting next to each other and me laying on his shoulder, my arms wrapped around his torso as his were around my shoulder and my legs wrapped around his left legs. It was a weird position but, it's so comfortable.

I give her a slight smirk before rolling my eyes. "So why exactly is Liz here?" Nathan asked loud enough for everyone to hear.

"I don't know." I shrug, god only knows what he got caught doing with that boy.

"Come on everyone grab a shot." Adam yells.

I shake my head as he tries to pass me one. "It's only twelve." I state.

"And?" He motions his hands for me to continue my sentences.

"And, it's too early to be drinking." I snap.

He rolls his and sets my shot in my lap." I said I didn't want one."

"Then go put it back." He scoffs.

I look at Nathan to see he looks super angry. "Calm down, I'll just take it." I say before kissing his cheek. He looked down at me with a smile.

I quickly take the shot, it was super strong. Nathan didn't want to drink today so he silently sat there watching everyone get wasted with me.

"I have to use the bathroom." I say to Nathan as I get up from the couch.

I rush to the bathroom, not really having to use it. I just said that to get out of the place with those crazy people.

I stand in front of the mirror and see that I look like a complete mess. Well when don't I.

I turn on the Fossett and cup water in my hands before splashing a handful of water onto my face.

I pay the excess water from my face before walking out of the bathroom and into the living room.

I walk towards the couch where I was just sitting and see Liz sitting there flirting with Nathan while twirling her fake hair around her finger."Excuse me Liz, but I was sitting there." I interrupt.

She looks up at me and smiles before going back to her conversation with Nathan. I glance over to him and see his is looking at me with a shamefaced before turning his attention back to Liz.

Oh I see how it is.

"Liz, can I speak to you in the kitchen."
