Just A Nerd?

Chapter 3

School passed by really quick after that little incident during lunch. Thank God.

If I were there for another second, I would pull out every last strand of hair on my head. That Mr. Richmond could sure put you to sleep in a second.

I don't have work today, so it will just be me and Netflix for the rest of the night.

I change into my house shorts with a pull over sweater. Nice and cozy, just how I like it. You can say I get into bum mode when I get home, but who doesn't? I mean we all love huge oversized shirts, well I know at least most girls do. We all love to snuggle up in the covers and lay there like a mole coming from under the ground. It's just comfortable and cozy, so I take out my laptop and grab my secret stash of chocolate to watch some Netflix.

I'm not in the mood for Vampire Diaries right now, because Katherine is getting on my nerves, so I settle for a Bratz movie. Who says a 17 year old can't watch Bratz?

          Pshhh, I love me some Bratz and nobody is changing that.

About half way into the movie I get interrupted by someone banging on my front door.Why must everyone interrupt my 'Me' time lately?

I sigh and slide on my bunny slippers to make my way down stairs.

      Please don't be Adam! Please don't be Adam!

I open the door to see Jace standing at my front door with his hands in his pockets.

"Oh chase isn't here." I tell Jace.

"I'm not here for Jace." He chuckled while looking down at me. These boys are like giants compared to me.

"So why are you here?" I scrunch my eyebrows.

"I just happened to pass your house on my way home, and wanted to check on my favorite girl." He explained in a high pitched voice.

Oh I must have forget to tell you that Jace lives a couple of blocks away from me. But if he was coming home from school, it would be in the other direction.

"But you live in the other direction." I protest.

"Okay you caught me!" He sighs. "I just had nothing else to do." He put his head down.

I chuckled. "Come in." I ordered.

"So you just chose to come and see me, for no reason?" I questioned as I grabbed us both a bottle of water.

"Yep!" He replied.

"So what do you want to do?" I asked while sitting next to him.

For some reason I feel really comfortable with him, it's like how I feel when I'm with Nina.

"I don't know, what movies do you have?" He suggested while eyeing our movie collection under the TV.

"We have a bunch of different movies, want to watch one?" I ask.

"Sure." He replied.

I got up and started looking for a movie. "What about Paranormal Activity?" I suggest.

When I look up at him and he has a worried look on his face. "Sure." He hesitates. I go and pour some chips into a bowl and bring some candy. "Press play." I demand as I sit down. His hand shakes as he presses the button.
