Just A Nerd?

Chapter 28

"Hmm." I moan in such great pleasure. The young lady who looked to be in her late twenties, was massaging my back with her heavenly hands.

We had only been here for about an hour and a half so far and let me tell you, my body has never felt so relaxed.

Adam was in the Gym next door, he told me that he had to keep his figure right so I wouldn't lose interest in him.

      Like that would ever happen.

The sound of my phone vibrating on the table next to me, broke me out of my pleasure.

Sitting up slowly, the lady stopped massaging and handed me my phone.

Curious at who would be calling me while I was on my trip with Adam I check the caller ID before answering.

I assumed that he would have told everyone not to bother us while we were away, made me even more curious.

To my surprise it was Liz who was calling. Well it wasn't much of a surprise, of course she would want to interrupt me and Adams time together.

"Hello." I greet in a low, annoyed voice.

"Elena!" She shrieks, her breath heavy and she sounds in a panic. "Elena!" She shouts again.

"Liz, what's wrong?" I ask starting to get nervous.

Sensing the fact that the call was personal that lady exited the room.

"Elena. I think someone is in the house.....Elena." Her voice shaky and still panicked. In the background all I heard was the faint sound of the television playing.

"Liz." I start in a stern voice. "Calm down and call the police."I coo.

" I tried but they said that the fasted they could get here was half an hour...You need to get home." She calmed down. "Now!" Was all she said before hanging up the line.

Leaving me stunned and staring at my phone at her actions, I quickly gather all of my things and throw on my robe.

I rush into the gym section and see Adam lifting weights.

                       So sexy.

I can't worry about him right now, all I need to worry about is rushing back home and seeing what happened.

"Hey princess." Adam greets as I step next to him. He sets the weights down and reaches for me.

"We need to leave!" I insist, taking a step back from him.

His hand that was about to grab me fell to the ground and I could see the worry in his eyes.

"What happened?" He asked in a concerned tone.

"I don't know, but Liz called me in a panic and said something about someone breaking in the house." I rush.

I honestly don't know why she would call me I'm almost four hours away from the house.

Adam shakes his head in frustration, then stands up from the bench.

"Go get changed, I'll check out." He says planting a kiss on my forehead. With that I rush into the changing rooms and get all of our things together.

A couple of hours pass by and I am now  jumping out of the half moving car. Adam shouts my name but I ignore him.
