"You're leaving for the basketball court in 10, correct?" Audrey's aunt asked holding a crying Journey. Aubrey nodded her head and held her hands out for the baby. Her aunt smiled. "I don't know why they're calling me into work today I'm supposed to be on a maternity leave. I'm supposed to go in next week, technically. But still, I just had a baby for crying out loud. I dot wanna leave her side." She complained.

"But I gotta work to provide for us." She rubbed Aubrey's hair and leaned down to kiss Journey's forehead.

"I promise to pick her up in a good hour or two. That's the longest I'll stay there. I didn't mean to impose on your hang out day."

"No, no. It's straight aunty. Just call me when you're on your way for her." Aubrey assured her. "Oh and Aubrey?"

"Yes?" Aubrey said sliding on her bike slides. "Pick up the groceries on the list please? Thank you darling." She jogged out the house and into her car. Aubrey looked at Journey. She checked her diaper and since her aunt already fed her before she left it could only mean one thing.

"Baby you must be tired. I got'chu." She began to rock her before softly singing.

"Looking in my mirror. Took me by surprise. I can't help but see you. Running often through my mind."

"Helpless like a baby. Sensual disguise. I can't help but love you. It's getting better all the time. I can't help it if I wanted too, I wouldn't help it, even if I could. "

Aubrey was soon on her way in the uber to Walmart. She wanted to move things in fast motion so she could see Chris. Man oh man was she anxious to see him since that lingering kiss he had placed on her lips. She touched her lips before shaking cautiously, making sure to not wake up the sleeping baby.

Upon her arrival, she made sure to pay the man before speed walking to Walmart. She grabbed a cart and made her way towards the aisle where the vegetable and fruits are. "Okay. Lettuce? Check. Tomatoes? Check. All sorts of fruits? Check, check, check. Okay we need to get milk, 4 different juices, and pasta." She roamed the aisle searching for the items. "Oop. Don't we need cereal? I mean she didn't write it down, but oh well." She shrugged. As soon as she put the cereal down and looked up her eyes met with the same dark brown familiar ones.

Aubrey moved out the way and tried to walk past him as quickly as possible. He stepped in the way making her come to stop. I should've hit him with the cart.

"Aubrey isn't it?"

"Yea yea. What do you want, I got things to do. Matter fact." She tried to go around him but he stepped in the way again. She ran over his toe and he yelped in pain. "Aye man!" He rubbed his toe.

Aggravated her stated. "Look I don't want to see your face just as much as you don't want to see mine. I just wanted to apologize on be half of my boy." He looked up at her.

"Who Jay? He's been omitted out my memory the second I left the house. " she waved him off. To Aubrey, he wasn't important. She didn't have time to remember as irrelevant as Jay. The fuck is a Jay anyways?
