~Lily's POV~
I walked along the beach with Jason, he was smiling at me, more than usual.
"Are you okay?" I asked him "You're acting weird"
Jason stops walking and so do I, we stand there looking at each other for a while, he sighs ad almost looks pained when he says:
"I broke up with Emily last night"
Silence. I just looked at him with worried eyes, he had been with Emily since they were fifteen. I didn't know what to say, should I comfort him, should I say that she was no good for him anyway? How did they break up?
"She was seeing someone else, someone who she had fallen in love with" Jason answers my unspoken question.
"Jason there's going to be someone els-"
"No you don't get it, I'm pathetic! I'm eighteen Lil, and she's the only girlfriend I've ever had. I've never had to be prepared for 'someone else', the only girl I've ever liked as side from Em isn't even interested!" He looks away from me.
"Why? Look at you, you practically have girls throwing themselves at you!" I tried to comfort him.
"None that I actually want" Jason Sighs
"I don't understand" I say turning to go and find the guys... Oh no I left Drew! I search frantically for him among the crowd but Jason's hand pulls me back gently by the arm, and I turn to face him.
"Two years ago, I met this girl. She was fifteen at the time, younger than me. But the more I got to know her the more I wanted to know. I was dating Em at the time, so it wouldn't have been right then, even though I knew then..."
"Jason what's going on? What are you talking about?" I was beyond confused.
"Don't you remember what happened two years ago? I met you! And Lil, since then I've had the biggest crush on you!"

~Drews POV~
I left Lily and Jason alone, and went to find Austin. I headed to the Café to find Austin, Nate, Levi and Sophia looking exhausted sitting in a booth.
"You guys finally finished?" Exclaimed Austin
"Where's Lil?" Asked Sophia
"She went with Jason, they are halfway up the beach" I sat down next to Nate and tried to hide the sadness I felt.
"Jason?" Levi nearly leaped out of his seat "And you just let her go?"
"Yeah he seemed desperate to talk to her... alone"
"I can't stay on this beach any longer" Complained Nate
"Same, we're going to head to Wendy's do you want to meet us there?" Austin asked
"Yeah" Levi muttered
Sophia ended up going with Nate and Austin as well, whilst me and Levi waited for Lily.
"She's been gone for at least half an hour" Levi said "If she hasn't tried to contact us in the next ten minutes I'm going out there Drew, and you can't change my mind, or stop me"
I didn't see a reason to argue, so we both ordered a milkshake and waited.

~Lily's POV~
I stood astonished at his words, out of all the things he could of confessed, I didn't think this was going to be it. My jaw was dropped open, and I tried to form even the slightest sound, but I actually couldn't speak.
"What?" I said in disbelief, surely I had heard him wrong.
"It's true, and without Emily I can finally say that after waiting for years!" He looked relieved.
"Jason..."
"It's Okay Lil, we can start from the beginning!" He says excitedly
"Look Jason I-"
"I'll do what ever it takes to-"
"JASON" I shout at him, ignoring the look I was getting from the people on the beach.
He opens his mouth to speak again, but quickly closes it, and watches my cautiously.
"I didn't realise that's how you felt" He goes to speak but I hold my hand up to silence him.
"But I thought we were friends" I stressed the word "I don't see yo-"
"Lily, what are you doing?!" I hear Levi shout metres away from us. "The others have gone, come on time to go!"
"I've got to go-" I start but Jason cuts me off
"Now?" He shakes his head in disbelief "After what I've just told you? Can't you just stay for a little longer?"
"No I have to go Jason" I say and I smile apologetically at him
"You're old enough to make up your own mind, please stay, I need to talk"
"No I need to go-" but Jason spun me round, looked me in the eyes, and full on kissed me on the lips. Before I could comprehend what was happening we broke apart. Jason smiled at me.
"I've got to go" I turned around to see Levi with his jaw almost touching the ground in shock, and in the distance I could see a blonde figure turn around and walk away.
