16) Clean up & Bad Timing

~Drew's POV~

I woke up the next day to hear Levi shouting to everyone in the house. When I opened my bedroom door to see why he was shouting at us to get up, the house was completely wrecked. I saw Nate and Austin come out of their room, and stare in amazement at the mess we had created. In the dark, and with loads of people, everything seemed to be under control.

"Levi?" I shouted out, to find him.

"Drew we've got to start clearing up! Mom will be home in less than an hour, and she will actually kill me if she sees this state!" I could see the panic in his eyes, so I nodded.

"I'll clear the kitchen" I say before hurrying off to clear away all the cups and rubbish littering the surfaces.

"I'm going to go and see if Lily's up so she can help" I hear Austin announce and I feel a swarm of jealousy over take me, I shrug it off as I know that Austin was clearly only trying to help. I being to clear the surfaces, and empty the bins as we needed a lot more space. I wiped down the counters, and mopped the floor, I definitely did not need Lily's mom angry with me, definitely not after what I would need to eventually tell her. If there ever is going to be a 'Me and Lily'.

~Lily's POV~

I hear my door opening, but I keep my eyes closed.

"Just five more minutes" I say covering myself in the blankets in my still half sleepy state.

I feel the covers being pulled back and someone brush my arm. Drew? Eyes still closed I grab his hand and cuddle into it. As I held his hand I noticed that it wasn't as soft as Drews. I blend in and out of my dream and reality, and then when I finally properly wake I open my eyes to see the hand belonged to Austin.

"Oh Austin!" I say in a high pitched voice "I'm sorry I didn't mean to-"

"Shhh, its fine" He says still clutching my hand "I can tell the guys you're still asleep if you want"

"No" I say simply this was way to awkward to stay in here "I'll get up, what do the guys need?"

"The house is a mess and your moms going to be here soon" He says looking at me in complete concentration.

"Oh" I say "I guess we should help them then" I go to get off the bed but Austin pulls me back down.

"I thought we could just stay here and talk for a bit" Austin looks at me with a shy smile.

"Um Okay, what do you need to talk about?" I can feel the heat rising in the room, this is beyond awkward.

"You know how Levi's always been like a brother to me..."

"Well yeah, you guys practically live together on tour"

"Well he talked a lot about you, and told us loads of things from his life back home, but I didn't know that he wasn't exaggerating even the slightest when he was saying how amazing you are"

"Look Austin..."

"No please let me finish okay, I've been trying to tell you this since Linda's wedding. You have had to watch Levi leave all the time, you had a relationship that ended up with a really bad ending, you've gone through a lot of heartbreak and I really admire you for that. Look Lily, I really like you-"

"Oh Austin, the thing is-" I try to stay but he cuts in again.

"But I know how you feel about Drew." He says simply. "I see the way you guys look at each other, I've known it all along."

I just stare in amazement at him, not knowing what to say. Was what he was saying true?

"That's why I want you to be with Drew, I'll talk to Levi and we can sort it out because honestly is painful watching you two hiding your feelings for eachother."

I blush slightly, before hugging Austin tightly around the neck almost making him lose balance.

"Thank you" I say still hugging him, and he hugs back with the same amount of effort. Suddenly I hear my door open and I see Drew standing in the door way looking as pale as a ghost and horrified.

"I'm sorry" He stutters "I didn't realise id be intruding" Before he hastily turns around and leaves without even looking at me.

"Drew wait! Its not what it looks like!" I yelled

"Its not Drew wait" Says Austin and we hurry out of the room after him.
