17) Forgiveness and Jason?!

~Drew's POV~

I hurried out of the room, away from the two of them. Was I being irrational? I trusted both of them, and I was so confused but I kept walking until I was out of the house and down the street as I needed to clear my head. I could hear Lily and Austin trying to catch up to me, they were repetitively calling my name, but I didn't look back once, not even to see if they had caught up. Was I angry? Or scared of the truth they might tell me? I kept walking at a fast pace hoping they would give up, they didn't.

~Lily's POV~

I ran out of the bedroom with Austin following Drew down the stairs, and out of the front door. I didn't look back, I followed him but he was fast.

"I'm going to wait here" Austin calls out to me "You're the only one he's going to listen to anyway" He says before stopping himself from running and sitting on a nearby bench.

"Okay, it'll be fine" I comfort him "He will listen to me"

I don't know if I believed my words but I felt like Drew would always listen to me, he wasn't the sort of person to not care. I carried on running after him seeing him in the distance. I had to catch up to him.

~Drew's POV~

"Drew please wait!" Screamed Lily and I finally turned around to see her running towards me.

"I get it!" I say angrily "Do what you want Lily"

"Drew-"

"Stop making this harder than it already is" I say hiding the tears forming in my eyes.

When she stops suddenly in front of me I see her eyes glistening with tears too.

"Drew" She whispers softly. I look around for a sign of Austin avoiding her eye sight. Austin has obviously given us some space, which is good considering how I'm feeling right now. I feel her hand pull my gaze down to hers gently as if I was made of glass. I look into her eyes and everything stops for a second.

"I would never do that to you" She says searching my eyes for a sign that she should continue. I stay silent. "Drew, Austin's my friend, you are particularly special to me"

"I believe you" I say not knowing if my words were true, but I wanted to last in this moment forever, to forget about everything, and for a small second pretend that she was mine.

"Drew I cant give you an honest answer about how I feel for you, because I don't know, but I don't want you to feel like you are ever just some one who doesn't matter to me"

Before I could think about what I was doing I smashed my lips to hers. If only it could be like this all the time, I didn't think about forgiving her, or hiding my feelings in front on Levi, at this moment it was just us. Suddenly I felt someone rip me from Lily's grasp and throw me to the floor. I winced in pain as my elbow grazed across the concrete.

"Drew!" Lily screamed

When I looked up I saw her being grasped around the neck by Jason's huge arm.

"What do you think your up too?" He asks me angrily "This is my girlfriend"

I get up angrily charging towards him, but he hits me in the jaw with his free hand.

"Lily, you better come with me because I'm ruining pretty boy's face" He laughs

"Get away from her!" I scream "Let go of her" But Jason is a lot stronger than me and again hits me to the floor.

"Don't hurt him!" Says Lily desperately "I'll do anything just don't hurt him" I can see she's crying in fear.

I look around to see two of Jason's friends from the beach looking at me threateningly.

"Oh I wont hurt him" Says Jason to Lily "But I cant say much for the other two, been a while since they've had a good fight."

I stand up again, I'm not giving up.

"No lets see, you took my girlfriend" He signals to one of the guys who punches me in the stomach "You tried to knock me out" He signals again and I feel another hit to my side "And you left me humiliated, your not doing very well are you?" He says to me with a smirk on his face.

"Jason why are you doing this, you ruined us not him!" Lily cries.

"I'm doing it because I can, now come on Lily unless you want to see him lose this fight"

"Lily, wait I love-" I try to say before hearing Lily's high pitch scream and I fall into complete darkness.
