18) Admitting & Caught

~Drew's POV~

"Drew, what happened?!" I hear Austin's voice muffled.

I open my eyes which are blurred and slowly I feel Austin help me sit up from the sidewalk. I shake my head trying to remember what had happened.

"Lily" I said urgently "Jason came and took her, its all my fault" I said putting my head in my hands I didn't want to cry in front of Austin.

"He took her" Austin says in disbelief "I knew that guy was trouble"

"Well we have to find her!" I say desperately "Levi's going to kill me"

"He's not going to kill you, we will try and find Lily ourselves, and if that doesn't work then we will think about telling Levi, we don't want him worrying."

"Okay" I agree as Austin helps me stand up "I'm so worried about her"

~Lily's POV~

Jason pushes me forcefully into his car along with two other guys that i knew vaguely from the beach. I sat in silence not bothering to wipe the tears streaming from my face. Drew could be dead for all I know, they completely knocked him out and left him on the side of the road.

"Don't cry" Says Jason wiping my tears, and pull my head forcefully backwards to avoid his contact.

"Don't touch me" I spit

"Don't tell me you actually liked that guy?" He laughs along with the others. "He was a nobody, you think your brother would allow it anyway? He was bad enough trying to get me away let alone one of his best friends. What do you think he going to do when he finds out? Huh?"

"He's not going to find out, not like this" I say looking away from Jason.

"Oh, he is. I'll make sure of it. I'll even tell him myself." He grins evilly in my direction.

"They will find me, the guys, and when they do your going to wish you'd never been born"

"Oh the whole point is that they'd find you" He says before holding up my phone which he must have stolen from my pocket, and begins to write a message.

To Drew: 'Hey Drew, Jason's taken me to the park where we went for my birthday. Hurry and come and get me, I've managed to escape.'

He reads the message he sent to Drew loud and clear and everyone in the car laughs loudly apart from me who knows all to well Drew would do anything to save me, and Jason may have just figured out that its his weakness.

~Drew's POV~

Austin helps me walk as I struggle due to head still spinning, which was probably a sign of concussion. We decided to walk to Jason's house as it wasn't that far away, and was the most obvious place to look.

"She's going to be Okay" Austin says to me "I know it, we are going to find her"

"I'm sorry Austin" I tell him "I should never have thought that you'd try to be with Lily, when you know how I feel. I trust you, and it was wrong of me"

"It's okay man" He replies "I know what it must have looked like, but right now, we don't need to discuss this, we need to find Levi's sister." Austin always knows the right things to say.

Suddenly I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket, and we stop walking. When i unlock it i see a message.

From Lily: 'Hey Drew, Jason's taken me to the park where we went for my birthday. Hurry and come and get me, I've managed to escape.'

"Its from Lily!" I say staring in amazement "And I know where she is" I tell Austin and he looks hopeful.

~Lily's POV~

I watch us drive past a few more houses before the car comes to a stop. Jason and his guys get out and Jason pulls me by the arm to get me out of the car. As he had told Drew in the message, we were at the same park I had caught him cheating on me weeks before. It was the afternoon, but the park wasn't very crowded, Jason held onto me and we walked until we reached a nearby bench which was very secluded and no one was walking by.

"Now for the fun part" Said Jason taking out his phone this time, texting something I couldn't quite see. I sat on the bench as instructed, I didn't want to see anything worse happen to Drew, and I knew that if I moved he would pay. I waited as I saw Jason and his group walk away just enough so they could still keep a sharp eye on me. I wait with my hands shaking, what were they going to do once Drew got here, would he even get the message? Or was he still out cold on the side of the road? I waited anxiously, I don't think I'd ever been more terrified. I waited for ages until I see Austin holding up Drew, and his eyes light up as he saw me. He doesn't even realise its a trap. I see Austin tell Drew, who looks up and meets my gaze, soon he lets go of Austin, and rushes towards me slightly off balance from the pain of his beat up figure.

"Lily!" He says grabbing my face in two hands "I thought I'd lost you" He cries gripping me tightly.

"Drew you don't understand" I say but Drew is so happy he pulls me into a tight hug, and kisses me several times on the forehead.

"Lily you don't know how worried I've been, where is that Psycho? How did you escape?"

"That's what I'm trying to tell yo-!" I say

"At least you are safe, that's the main thing."

I start sobbing, completely breaking down, he doesn't understand he's in danger.

"It's okay" He rocks me "I'm here, I wont leave you"

"You have to" I say holding back more tears "You can't stay here"

"What?" He shakes his head "What are you talking about?"

I know that this will be the worst thing I could do to him, but it's the only way to make him leave.

"Go" I say "Just leave me alone Drew" I cant look into his eyes without breaking, but I can already see the heartbreak in his face.

"Drew please go" I repeat

"I can't he stutters "Don't you feel anything for me?"

I look over to where Jason is standing and he signals me to say 'No', and I don't want to take any chances.

Goodbye Drew

"No" I lie, I cant see him get hurt again.

"That's a lie!" He says loudly "You know it is, why are you saying this?" He asks he's on his knees in front of me.

"Drew stop making this worse, and leave" I say harshly, I hate that I have to do this to him.

"But I love you" He says loudly sobbing into my lap. He does?  My heart breaks a thousand times watching him like this.

"Drew I-"

"What is this?" I hear a voice to my left, and Drew looks up from my lap.

I see Levi angrily looking at both of us, with Jason standing beside him with a wide grin on his face.

"Told you he'd find out" He says as I look down to Drew who is still holding my hands but looking guilty, and horrified.
