Hunk x Reader - Midnight snack

It was late... The Paladins had a rough day of training and everyone was on their beds snoozing away. That is...Everyone except me!

Out of all the people to be sandwiched by I was in a room in between Keith and Lance! The loudest snorers in all the castle! Lance had the classic pig snore. I even saw him drooling on his pillow one night! Keith, however, had a more tolerable snore. He had the deep breathing snore. No vibrations just really, really, really loud breathing.

By midnight I had enough and stormed out of my room into the living room. If I wasn't going to get any sleep out of my own bedroom I might as well find another room to sleep in. I brought my pillow and blanket outside, dragging it on the floor as I wearily walked all the way to the couch. "If I ever wake up tomorrow morning I am going to smack both Keith and Lance in the head for keeping me up" I sighed, warming up in my covers.

...5 minutes later...

BANG!!!

"NOW WHAT?!" I screamed, kicking my covers off. I had enough interruptions tonight and I was not going to let something or someone else ruin my sleep! I stormed into the kitchen, where I thought the sound came from and banged the door open. "Oh... It's you" I sighed, combing my hair back. 

There he was. Hunk, the large eater of the Paladins taking a midnight snack from the castle's fridge. How typical. "I was just getting a midnight snack" Hunk mumbled, struggling to even get a sound past his food-filled mouth. I sighed deeply, planting my forehead into my palm.

"Good night" I moaned, turning around to the door.

"Wait!" Hunk exclaimed, grabbing my wrist. "I-er-uh..." Hunk stammered.

"What?" I groaned, starting to fall asleep.

"Uh... You can cook... right?" Hunk nervously asked.

"Huh? Why don't you ask Lance?" I wondered out loud.

"Because you're the only one awake?" Hunk nervously chuckled. I gave him the tired look.

His smile was adorable let me tell you, but my eyes and brain were dying. "Fine" I sighed. "Yes!" Hunk squealed, punching the air in victory. "What do you want me to cook?" I yawned, heading over to the actual part of the kitchen. "I'll eat anything you make!" Hunk grinned, jumping onto the counter. "Okay," I whispered, struggling not to collapse onto the floor.

After half an hour of cooking and getting burned and bumped awake, I finally managed to whip up something humanly edible for Hunk. Once it was served Hunk gulped it all down in three large spoonfuls. "Mmm!" Hunk smiled, licking his lips. "Best midnight snack ever!" Hunk grinned. "Thanks (y/n)!" Hunk looked around the kitchen for (y/n), but couldn't find her. Instead, he found her on the floor, snoozing away like a baby.

Though (y/n) didn't know it Hunk had a huge crush on her. With that Hunk picked (y/n) bridal style and carried her to the couch where he tucked her in and kissed her good night. "Thanks for staying up for me" He whispered into (y/n)'s ear.

Big shout out to brave-vesperia! She's (Correct me if I'm wrong) been a big inspiration to me and has helped me improve my writing! Thank you so much for giving me hope and inspiration even though you may not have known! :D
