Shiro x reader - Space couple

"Are you sure that this solution will work?" Lord Zarkon eyed Hagar.

"Believe me Lord Zarkon this will work" Hagar hissed, enraged to hear that Zarkon doubted her capabilities. "With this concoction, the Paladins will not be able to form Voltron ever again" Hagar cackled eyeing the green formula in her hand.

...

"WAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!"

You shot your head up from your pillow. The disturbing sounds of a wailing baby echoed in the castle hallway. "What the heck?!" You exclaimed running out of your room. You searched around the hallway and pinpointed where the sound was coming from.

"Lance?!" You gasped, walking into Lance's bedroom. Instead of a teenage boy snoozing away, you saw a wailing baby in his place. You face palmed yourself and slapped your cheeks. "It's a dream, it's a dream" You repeated to yourself.

"I wish it were, but unfortunately it's not" Shiro sighed, walking into the room with Hunk, Pidge, and Keith as tiny little toddlers.

"Ugh!" You groaned. "One thing I'd like to ask is how on earth you're not turned into one of these" Shiro commented.

"Well these things are called toddlers or babies; I don't know how old they are" You sighed, picking Lance up.

"Well one thing's for sure, we need to get these guys some nappies" Shiro smirked. You look on Lance's bed and saw that since he shrank in size he didn't fit into his usual clothes.

"Ugh," You groaned in disgust, looking away.

After a good forty-five minutes of searching for nappies or at least a good substitute, you and Shiro brought the children to the living room. The sunken couches made it hard for the babies to climb out, at least that's what you thought. Shiro left to look for Coran and Allura in case something happened to them while you watched the others.

Hunk and Pidge were getting along nicely, in fact, they always stuck close to one another sharing toys (old pieces of junk that were said to play with) and caring for one another like BFF's. However, Keith and Lance were never happy with one another. You kept both of your eyes on the pair the entire time knowing that Pidge and Hunk were okay.

"I'm just glad that these guys can't talk yet!" You sighed, separating Keith and Lance, again.

"Found them," Shiro announced walking in with Allura and Coran.

"Oh my gosh, Coran is so cute!" You squealed. You ran up to Coran who was thankfully wearing a nappy. He was happily sucking his toes, but it was his hair that got you. It was a small bunch of hair that curled around like a little piggies tail. "Oh my gosh, he's adorable!" You cried.

"Yeah, but just wait until he starts to cry or does his thing!" Shiro sighed.

Shiro set Allura and Coran down with the others. Thankfully, Lance immediately stopped fighting Keith and crawled over to Allura and watched her with awe-filled eyes. "Ugh! Stay away from me Lance!" Allura humphed, crawling to the other side of the couches.

"She can talk?!" Shiro and you exclaimed.

"Of course we can talk, Altean babies naturally grow faster intellectually and physically. Why do you think the Guardians are so hard at level 1?" Coran answered, crawling after Allura.

"Okay, I did not see this coming" Shiro sighed.

"Well, at least we get parental training with these guys" You smiled, doing your best to stay positive.
