Jealous Shiro x reader - Weak by your side part 3

"What?" You gapped. Shiro didn't seem the only one flustered by what he said. He averted his eyes from you and covered his mouth with a fidgeting hand. "Wait, what did you just say Shiro?" You asked.

Shiro sighed and rubbed his face with conviction. Although he was nervous, it seemed to you that he regretted saying it. "I said, I love you" He answered.

Your hearted stopped. Your brain stopped too, taking a few seconds to shut down and reboot again to understand what those three words meant. "Wh-How- Wh" You stammered. You were so shaken by the news. All it took were three specific words to take you off guard. Your heart wasn't beating as you would have expected it to be, however, sudden heat flushes run up and down your back. It was like... Something you've never experienced... What was it?

You were caught up in your internally thinking so much that you didn't realise Shiro was studying you. It took something big to snap you out. Before you knew it, a safe hand brushed against your neck, turning your face. It was sudden, but when you felt it, it was gentle and soft, unlike his real in towards your lips.

The first couple of seconds were wasted by you processing what on earth was happening. On the third or fourth second, you kissed him back. You cupped his cheek and stayed in your ecstasy, but pulled back away. You looked down, letting your hand fall down to his shoulder. "Why did you do that?" You asked, lifting your gaze desperately looking for an answer in his deep eyes.

Shiro leaned in and kissed you gently on the forehead, bringing you closer to him so that your foreheads met, "Because I love you (y/n)."

Soz guys if this wasn't enough for some people, but I did say that I wouldn't be doing lemons. If you don't want to lose your light-headedness about Shiro kissing you, I suggest you stop reading this message (Expects around at least ten people to stop reading to swoon over Shiro and sees a lot of girls fainting on their beds on or the floor from their laptops or phones)...
