Zianna walked down the hall humming a tune that played in her mind. She clapped her hands on her thighs as she subtly danced to the beat in her head. Her purple coloured hair waved in the air as she swayed to and fro with the beat.

She continued to walk until she bumped into Hunk who was stuffing his face with some custard. "Mmm!" Hunk sighed as he walked passed Zianna. Zianna giggled at Hunk's antics. Before, she rarely saw a joyful sight. She was always surrounded by discipline, the fear of death or unshakeable ambition. She thought back to her heritage.

She was the granddaughter of Emperor Zarkon. Just thinking about it gave her chills. It wasn't the thought that she was related to Zarkon that scared her. It was the memory of the night she escaped. She was teleported by her mother to the Castle of Lions (Correct me if I am wrong and I will fix it ASAP). The pain of being teleported brought hot chills on her arms.

She stopped the music as she tried to walk off her memories. What happened to my mother? Did Hexus make it off the ship alive? Who's after me? How many people in the Galran empire hate me? Do I have a price on my head now?

Zianna stopped her fast pace as she came across a room. "This is new" Zianna murmured. Zianna reached out and opened the door as it slid past her to reveal a vast open space. Her gaze went up as she saw the ceiling embellish with stunning chandeliers. "Wow," Zianna gasped, walking into the room, enchanted by its Altean beauty. "I wonder how many memories were made here," Zianna wondered.

Zianna walked to the centre of the room examining the beautiful architecture of the walls. As she closed into the centre the lights dimmed. Zianna moved her hands around in a curve around her and spun around in a circle. As she did her hands illuminated a soft creamy colour, like a star that was off in the distance. Her hands danced around her leaving a path of light behind. The light danced around her like ribbons, curving around and spinning in a beautiful motion.

She smiled as she moved around, after a while she began to move around the room, twirling and leaping in the air like a ballerina. At first, her movements were soft and smooth, but now her movements were fast and firm. The streaks of light were brighter and wider. And her face was firmer, but she still held onto that smile.

Lance's POV

I was walking in the hallway when I heard the soft sound of music. I didn't notice it at first and I thought I was imagining it, but it was definitely there. I followed the trail of the music and followed it to a new side of the castle. I never noticed this part of the castle.

I kept walking and saw a room that had been opened. I stepped closer to the door and saw Zianna dancing. It's a strange thing for me. I've never seen anyone dance like that, alone. Her movements were strong. She was definitely a dancer, I've never seen anyone dance like that. Her hands looked like they were glowing. It was so cool to see them light up and dance with her. They looked like ribbons following her, mimicking her every movement.

She's so strong. After all that she's been through, she's still able to dance. Her resilience inspired me. I felt drawn to her. I don't know what it exactly was. It was like her strength was pulling me in. Like, an instinct that told me to go where it was safe. Safe. That's what it was. Around her, I felt safe. Not because of her powers, but because of who she was. Strong, determined, resilient, kind, gentle and caring. It all pulled me in. And... I wanted it.

Third person view

Lance walked further inside, closer to Zianna. Zianna had closed her eyes and didn't notice that Lance was there or that there was music around her. She just moved. It was a rhythm that kept beating until it stopped. Zianna slowed down until she stopped. And right where she was, Lance stood in front of her. When she opened her eyes she had the shock of her life; she didn't expect someone to be there.

She gasped and jumped back, but she smiled when she saw Lance. "You danced beautifully" Lance smiled. "Thanks" Zianna blushed as she tucked a strand of her hair behind her. The two stood in front of each unsure of what to say. Lance reached down and slowly took Zianna by the hand. Lance flinched when he came into contact, but Zianna answered and accepted his hand. It was a silent statement, but it was understood by both of them.
