I struggled to keep up with Caleniel. She was walking as if this was some stroll through a village. I heard Frodo fall back and groan. I turned to face the hobbit.

Aragorn helped Frodo stand, and the hobbit frantically began searching himself.

My eyes widened as I realized what Frodo was looking for, and Boromir walked toward the fallen ring. "Boromir..." I took a step forward, placing my hand on my hilt.

Boromir looked at the ring as if in a trance.

"Boromir." Aragorn's eyes narrowed at him.

"It is such a strange fate that we should suffer so much fear and doubt over so small a thing." Boromir tenderly touched the ring. "Such a small thing."

"Boromir!"

Boromir seemed to snap out of his trance.

Aragorn glared at Boromir. "Give the ring to Frodo."

I took another step forward as Boromir slowly walked to Frodo and handed him the ring.

"As you wish. I care not." Boromir smirked.

Frodo snatched the ring from Boromir. Boromir laughed and patted the hobbit's head. I glared at him as he walked past me. He locked his gaze with mine, giving me the same sort of glare. Caleniel lightly placed a hand on my shoulder.

She smiled at me. "Perhaps being angry with each other is not best."

"We can't trust him." I shook my head.

"I did not say you should."

I paused.

Caleniel nodded. "We must watch him, but we must also do what is right, not what we feel, when it comes to him." She followed the others in front of us.

I looked back at Aragorn who nodded at me. I quickly turned away and rushed to Caleniel. "Caleniel."

"Bre."

"Do, uh... Do you think I've been rude to Aragorn?"

Caleniel glanced at me then ahead. "I think you've been acting according to your emotions."

"Answer my question." I frowned.

"I think you have."

"What?"

She let out a small laugh. "But it's somewhat all right." Her eyes looked around. "It feels colder suddenly."

"Exactly my thoughts." Aragorn placed another shawl on me. "I'm glad I brought two extra shawls. Seeing your attire the night before we left, Miss Bre, I knew your attire was insufficient." He smirked.

I looked down, pursing my lips. "I can handle the cold."

"Can you handle a blizzard?" Legolas looked back at the three of us.

I raised a brow. Who asks that? Why would they ask that?

Snow suddenly began falling at rapid rates. I frowned at Legolas, and he simply raised a brow. I took a deep breath and walked down the path, trying to get ahead to where Gandalf was. After what seemed like an eternity, the snow was at everyone's waists, save Caleniel and Legolas, who were walking on top of the snow with no effect.

I glared at the two as I shivered, and they walked ahead.

Legolas stopped Caleniel and looked ahead. "There is a foul voice in the air."

"It's Saruman!" Gandalf warned us.

I heard rumbling and looked up. Rocks were falling toward us. I pressed myself against the mountain. My breath was heavy  and I looked at Aragorn.
