Movie Date

"Miah can I come in please." it was 10 o'clock and it has been roughly three months since the doctors appointment. School has been a drag and I just go to school, work on my classes and go home. I dont talk to people often anymore and I dont know why. After that incident in the hallway, Mitch has been distant and never talks to me. He always is giving me blank stares when I see him and he even got angry at lunch a few days ago and slammed his tray against the ground and walked out when he saw me and Axel in line. Then Axel, he just acts like me, he just stays with me and knows when I dont wanna talk. I kinda like that about him. Nolan and I get along great still. He refuses to let me have a cigarette and I laugh everytime because of how worried and freaked he gets with me just grabbing one. Then there is Zeke. He is by far one of my best friends. He is always there to talk, he comes over to help me with school and we just chill in my room and talk for hours upon hours about anything.

"Yea you can come in" I replied to the person at my door. Paisley walked in and plopped on my bed. Daisy jumped up with joy. She has gotten big too. That dog is literally my life. "So we should go do something." Paisley whined. I laughed at her. "Pais we cant, its like 10." She laughed "So Matt and Owen are gone, mom and dad are gone, lets do something fun too!" I smiled "You go have fun! Ill be ok here. I will probably just sleep anyway." She gave me a sad look. "I don't want to leave you alo-" I cut her off "What if I invite someone over then will you be happy and go have fun?" She thinks for a moment. "Fineeee" She sat up and got onto the floor to play with Daisy. "Are you sure you don't wanna go?" She said as she threw the toy. "Im fine, go get ready and are you gonna be home tonight?" "No ill sleep at Hannah's place" I nodded and laid down. She got up and hugged me on the bed then walked out of the room closing the door behind her.

I grabbed my phone and sighed. I had no idea who would wanna come over and stay while they were out. I decided to message Nolan first.
@MIAH- Hey bud! Wanna come over and stay with me? Everyone is gone and done wanna be alone.
@NOLAN- For sure girl.. hey is it alright if I bring a tag along?
@MIAH- Well who is it?
@Nolan- I cant tell ya ;) Be there in 15
I laughed to myself and walked downstairs, Daisy at my feet. I let her out the backdoor and she did her business and we went back in. I decided to sit in the game room. I lay on the couch and placed my hands on my belly. I closed my eyes for a moment.

"She is asleep. Should we let her sleep?" I jumped up and started running toward the living room and was caught by arms around my waist. I began to fight back. "Miah, Miah its ok. Its us. Its Nolan." I relaxed and he let my go. I wiped my tears from my face and he sighed and turned me to face him and embraced me in a hug. "Youre ok. Im here. Nobody is gonna hurt you." I let a shaky sigh out and looked at him "I just was dreaming and woke up thinking I was.....there." "Well we are here now so you are safe." I nodded and looked at him. "So who is we?" He laughed and pointed to the kitchen. "Go see" I walked into the kitchen and someone was in the fridge. "What are you doing" I heard a familiar laugh and Zeke pulled his head out. "Making food, want some?" I laughed and hugged him. "Hi Zeke" I whispered in his shoulder "Hi Darlin" he whispered in the crook of my neck.

I let go and he pulled out some tater tots. "Yea?" Nolan walked in "Umm hell ya we want Tater Tots!" I laughed at how excited he was. I sat down at the table as Zeke put food in the oven and Nolan sat opposite of me. "So what do you wanna do?" Nolan asks. "To be honest I want to sleep but that's not gonna happen." He laughs at me and shrugs. “I mean you can.” I shook my head “No. Im good we can go watch a movie if you want?” He smiles “Whatever you want darling.” I looked over at Zeke. “What do you wanna do?” “We can eat these tater tots and then go out to the movies and see that new zombie movie you wanted to see.” I looked at Nolan. “Sound good?” He smirked “As long as I get my tater tots.” I laughed and Zeke smiled.
 
We ate our tater tots, well Nolan ate most of them, and then we all got in Nolan’s car and headed to the theaters. As we got there Nolan saw a girl walking in by herself and smiled “Ill check you guys later, I’m gonna go push my luck.” I laughed at his ability to believe he can get any girl he wants. Silly Nolan. Zeke and I walked in and he bought our tickets even though I insisted I could buy mine. “Hey do you want any candy or popcorn?” I looked at the candy and decided on Reese’s Pieces and he got a bucket of popcorn. As we got to the theater we found our seats and we were right on time because the lights went dim as we got comfortable.

As the movie was about halfway through I was basically hiding behind my hands. I saw Zeke laugh at me a few times and then he tapped me on the shoulder which made me jump. I looked over at him and he put his hand out. I grabbed it and held his hand a bit tight but it made me feel better. I felt safe. As if he could do anything and all the bad thoughts went away. I lay my head on his shoulder and then continued watching the movie. As the lights came on after the show we walked out the the lobby and I ran to the bathroom. "Find Nolan and Ill be out in a few minutes." Zeke nodded and left looking for our red headed friend. 

I got into the stall and did my business walking out after washing my hands and looked in the mirror. I smiled at my bump that was a lot more visible now. "I cant wait till we can see your beautiful face" I whispered to myself. I walked out of the bathroom and found Zeke standing alone by the doors. I walked over to him and gave him a questionable look. "He went with that chick. He left me the keys." We walked out to Nolan's car and Zeke drove me home. "Well I guess Ill be going then" Zeke said as he got into the driveway. I looked at him quickly. "Please stay. I dont want to be here alone. You can even have my bed if you want." He laughed and stopped me from talking by kissing me. "I will stay and I will not take your bed." I looked at him with shock and all I could slip out of my mouth was. "Ok." 

We went inside and I locked up all the doors and I was exhausted. I went up to my room and Zeke followed me. "Go change Ill be outside the door." I went inside and Daisy barked. "Hey Zeke will you let Daisy out please?" He laughed and called Daisy to go outside. I changed and brushed through my hair and opened my door. A few minutes went by and Daisy ran in and laid on her bed. Zeke came in and lay on the floor. I sighed. "Zeke get off the floor" He laughed and got up on my bed with me. As we lay there I could hear his breathing. It was peaceful. I got closer to him and he wrapped an arm around me. "Goodnight Beautiful"
