Hey guys, if you're reading this, hopefully you've read the past 3 chapters and if you haven't , you should! It would totally make my day 😄 anyways I'm making this for anyone who's confused about the characters and the whole story basically.
Okay so everything in the glade was normal (like the books and movie) up until a month after Chuck's arrival. Athena was the first girl in the glade! I decided to stick to James Dashner's theme of naming the characters as influential women! Anyways, heres a little description of Athena.
ATHENA
- first girl in the glade, she arrived a month after Chuck
- She's slightly tall, nothing overwhelming
- Dark brown hair with tan skin and brown eyes
- She's a runner along with Minho!
- She's very athletic and is praised by most of the guys because she's probably just as strong, if not stronger than them!
- She's smart too, a quick learner (which sort of explains how she got to be runner)
- she can come off as quite strict but she has good intentions!
-16 years old
After Athena, came you! So here's a little information on your character and her role in the book
YOU
- Keeper of the job that Alby decided to call "The Brains"
- Super smart, if you read, you probably know you're the smartest in the glade, hence the name "The Brains"
- independent
- thinks, A LOT, you really like your alone time
- unaware of the whole Newt situation 😋 don't worry, it'll get better!
- you're almost a leader in a way. Not like Alby or Newt but being the smartest, everyone is relying on you to get them out and lastly,
- DETERMINED AF
OK so after you, came Eleanor!
ELEANOR
- works as a med-jack with Mary as your nurse or assistant
- slim build, not much muscle but if she wants, she can probably pack a pretty good punch!
- tall, fair skin, blonde hair and green eyes
- super good with people, the gladers look up to her like a mom almost!
- kind, helpful, gentle
- 17 years old
After Eleanor, Donna! (Named after Madonna in case anyone was wondering)
DONNA
- works with the builders!
- intimidating at first glance but once you get to know her, she's super kind and gentle
- tall, muscular build, fair skin
- "one of the guys" (as described in the book)
- brown hair and brown eyes
- 17 years old
Next we have Diana!
DIANA
- works among the track-hoes!
- average height, red curly hair and bright blue eyes
- cute freckles !
- loves to garden, hence why she works with the track-hoes
- spunky, adventurous and very friendly
- can be a bit sassy and sarcastic
-15 years old
And last but not least, Mary!
MARY
- small, fragile build
- works as a med-jack alongside Eleanor
- shy, quiet but kind
- light brown hair, fair skin and hazel eyes
- 13 years old
Now about the story, if you're confused about what your character's "fluttery feelings" are, they're butterflies! You're pretty much clueless as to how Newt feels about you and I get it, Newt isn't doing anything too much to show you but don't worry, he will and you'll find out sooner or later!
Oh and just a disclaimer, all of these newly added characters are from my imagination! I wanted a lot of variation because I liked that about the original characters of the glade. I'm thinking of giving some of them a little romance of their own so let me know who you would like to see them end up with!
