Letter 3

Dear Y/N,
I'm sorry I haven't written in a while, not only have things become stranger around here, people have been dying! Gally is going around telling everybody that Thomas is the reason everything is changing and so far, he isn't wrong. Ever since Thomas came up, everything has been different but I can't blame him, I just have this gut feeling that Thomas is someone I can depend on. Anyways, a lot more has happened so here it goes, I'll start from the morning after I wrote my last letter.
When I woke up, I was a mess, I thought Thomas, Minho and Alby had all died so I didn't bother to check the doors. Fortunately, Chuck forced me to go and so of course I did. And to my bloody surprise, the three shanks had made it! Both Minho and Thomas were tired as hell and Alby.. Alby was stung. He was still alive though and that was all thanks to Thomas. According to Minho, Thomas bloody killed a Griever! Man, if only Thomas had been with you that night, maybe you would have survived..
Anyways, back to the topic. Alby was being taken care of by the med-jacks, poor Mary and Eleanor were scared out of their minds, they had never treated someone that had been stung. Meanwhile all of that, Thomas wanted to go back into the maze to dissect the Griever. I'm telling you Y/N, this kid can't get enough of trying to kill himself! Thomas may be crazy but so far, he's been the only person that's actually come up with ideas that could help us out of here ever since you've been gone. What they found though was unbelievable. Minho apparently pulled the bloody stinger out of the dead Griever and it had a a number. Thanks to the knowledge you already provided us with, we found out that the number is the section where that Griever came from. Later that day, Gally held a council meeting, he was quite angry that Thomas had gone out into the maze twice. I understood his anger but can you believe him? All of this shucking stuff is going on and he's bloody worried about the rules?? Just to make him happy, I had to "punish" Thomas so I decided that he would spend a night in the pit without food. Clearly, Gally was still upset but lately, Thomas was the only one trying to get us out of this place. Also I decided to make him a runner, I knew he was going to go out in the maze again so he might as well just become a runner. Later that day, the box came up. It hadn't even been close to a month since Thomas came up so we were all quite confused. It was a girl and her name's Teresa. she came up the box unconscious with two syringes and a note that said "she's the last one ever." We still have no bloody clue what that meant but ever since she came up, the box hasn't gone down. We somehow figured out that the syringes were cures for the Griever sting so we stuck one into Alby. What's even weirder though is that while she was in the box unconscious, she got up for a split second and yelled out "THOMAS!" She told us later that she has no memory of him so we were pretty freaked out.
Okay so the next day, Minho and our newest runner Thomas, decided to go to the section that was displayed on the stinger that Minho had dissected. And guess what love? We found a shucking escape!!!!!!!! An actual escape! At least we think it's an escape. According to Minho and Thomas, they think it's like somewhat of a Griever den or something which means that their way in, is our way out. That night, I called on some people I knew who would agree to escape with us and told them the plan but unfortunately our little meeting was disturbed when we realized that the maze doors weren't closing. I was scared as hell, it was dark and all four maze doors shucking opened. The grievers came taking person after person, including Alby.. He died saving Chuck..
Anyways, eventually they left but Gally was absolutely furious along with a few other gladers. He was so angry that he decided he would banish Thomas and Teresa the next morning. Gally yelled things at Thomas like "it's your fault we're here!" And blah blah blah. Thomas surprisingly agreed with him for some shucked up reason and decided that he wanted to remember his past so he took the stinger that was dissected and bloody stabbed himself with it! He passed out and we used the remaining syringe from Teresa to cure him then we threw him into the pit just as I had promised Gally. Eventually, the Griever's left but it was hard to sleep with the maze doors wide open so here I am, spending my night with you. Story of the year am I right? Ha.

The glade is an absolute disaster but at least your tree is still standing. We'll be leaving the glade through the escape that Minho and Thomas discovered tomorrow morning and we're bringing anyone who wants to come along. While Gally is busy banishing Thomas and Teresa, we decided we would go with them. This could possibly me my last letter to you, I really wish i could've written you more but I know that you're always with me. Most of all, I wish you could come with us on our escape. Maybe outside this maze, there's a wonderful world where we could start over, maybe even have a life together. Even if it isn't wonderful out there though, all I know is that I will definitely keep you close with me, don't you worry Y/N. I'll always love you. I better try to get some rest now, tomorrow is going to be a big day. If I die tomorrow, at least I'll be with you so I've got nothing to lose.
