Chapter 2: A Whole New World

I sat back still in shock of what I had just been told. Someone I thought I had known well I truly knew nothing about. She told me she was from another world entirely. Auzela she had said. More than that her and two others are in need of my assistance And we need to make it back it her home town of Elvalon immediately.

"So, will you please come help us? I sense that you have potential. And I can feel magical energy coming off of you." she pleaded to me for the second time.

"Let's say I do come with you. In theory to this mythical land. What would happen to me? Would anything back happen to me while I am there? More than that what of this world? How would I complete my studies? And what about my Mother and friends?" I asked still in shock.

"The time in this world would stop, no one would notice your gone because the time would freeze. About getting hurt. You could potentially die if you are uncareful, however me and my friends will do everything it takes to keep you alive even at the cost of our own lives. So please once again I beg of you come help us." her eyes red with tears dripping down her face by this point "I was sent here to retrieve you. I only have another 2 weeks here then I must leave."

"Hmm. Listen I will go. However if I do not like it there, or if I want to go home I can at anytime deal."

"That's ok that will be fine. Thank you so much now come let's g-"

"Wait! I am not leaving just yet. I am going home and getting a few things first. I'll be back as soon as possible." I said running off towards my house. As I went into my house I ran to my room. I was disappointed that Mother wasn't here so I couldn't say goodbye first or tell her I love her, but it was pry for the best. In my room I just grabbed a handful of pencils and a few 5 subject notebooks that way I could record my adventures. Then Spunky walked in. My little one year old cat with all shades of grey to black on his pelt. I petted him and told him I love him before I left. Grabbing my extra pair of glasses and a few lens cleaners. I'm going to miss my home and everyone, but I know I'm about it have a lot of really fun adventures. I ran back towards Alice's house. I knocked and looked at my watch. I had been gone for a hour. She walked to the door and let me in.

"Ok, now before leaving any new world technologies you must leave behind cellphones, watches. tablets." she said.

I sat down all my electronics. And told her how I'm bringing my notebooks pencils and glasses no matter what. And with that we walked towards a room I hadn't noticed was there before. Inside was a weird machine. We stepped on the center and with that we were gone. She told me to relax. The machine started whirling and making a variety of weird and foreign sounds. She grabbed my hand and with that we went into a black void I was so nervous but knowing she was so close I was happy and not scared in the slightest.
