I awake freezing cold. "Head. Pounding. How. Who. What. Man. Scars. Dragon. Cold. Fire. Fire. Fire. Who. I. Can't." I mumbled before blacking out.

"Welcome back." A familiar voice said. Who it was I can't remember though. "Come come let me look at you. Ah your head has a huge bump. Yes I saw that. Some simple brain trauma nothing to fear. Here" suddenly something touched my pained head. Then it a came back to me. Alice the fire the scared man. Where is the bastard I'll kill him with my bare hands? "Calm yourself. You aren't fully healed and you still can cause further damage to your head so take it a little easier." That voice. Dammit I know that voice.

"You again? Have you not any others to bother? Can you not just leave me alone?" I asked.

"Hush my child all will be explained eventually. Trust in me. Have some faith. For now you shod just wake up." he said before grabbing a dagger and cutting my arm a bit. Quickly I was thrown awake. Gasping for air I realized I was in a cell. I found out why I was so chilled. They had stripped me as I slept. Hmm I think I have a plan for all this. Its obvious the mysterious cloaked man Astaroth has some meaning to his words. Then I heard the guards talking. I didn't catch it all but they mentioned a location I never heard of. It's when they mentioned an Elven woman I  Block 73 cell 3920 that I was truly interested.

"Yea I heard she has the beauty of a Goddess."

"Really, well most elves do."

"You two stop talking and stand guard you have a maximum security prisoner there."

"No need to worry Sir he has bee  unconscious for the past 3 weeks only the occasional mumble of fire, scars and a woman escape his lips." Three whole weeks!

"Aye Sir it is true."

"Do I look like I care because I care not. Get your acts together and remember who you are talking to."

"Yes Sergeant Gillis."

No doubt about it that was him that voice was the man. Hmm. What to do. I then let it be known I'm awake and hungry. After a rather small meal of some stale bread and dirty water I sat and meditated.

Days turned to weeks. Weeks seemed like months as I sat there meditating and eating. Finally it all came together. "EARTHBLAST" I shouted destroying the wall. I quickly dawned the guards armor and weapons and started walking on as one of them. Those two weeks of meditation will be well worth it now. I followed my guidance. Eventually leading me to an armoury. I found my glove and sword as well as clothes. I took as many belts as I could find. Only three in addition to mind. I strapped as many daggers as possibly to them. I found a bow and several quivers of arrows that I took. I put on my armour and I found a few more little things I wanted that I put in a bag I tied to my belt on my waist. Finally I made my way to Block 73 cell 3920. I made my way there slaughtering every guard prisoner or cleaner in my way. I spared no mercy. Finally I found it. Block 73. I walked in and knew it was a trap. In a rather large room sat Gillis. The bastard himself. He looked up obviously anticipating my arrival. He stood and started speaking.

"Lucifer. Lucifer. Lucifer. What truly is the meaning of life? Some say it's for love. Some for glory. Some speak of the experience. Some say we live for others so other may live longer and be happier. So is that our only purpose. No. We make it all what we want it to be. To many no one else matters. The blood on your clothes and dripping from your blade shows me you feel the same. You are a monster. Not like what we fight in dungeons. More of the type that does what he wants when he wants for his own personal gain. That's pathetic. Is that not what you fight against? Truly are you any better than us? Any better than I? I think not. You however will hold yourself higher. Why? Simple because you think what your doing is right and justified all for a woman you want to spend your meaningless life with because of love. See how life is a crazy thing here. You take others so some may live. You take monster lives constantly just for mortals to live. People like you are the true monsters. It is people like you that killed my betrothed. You ruined my whole future my whole life. That is ok. I will have revenge as both I and your beloved watch you get slaughtered. Haahaahaa." Gillis said.

Please anyone I could use help. I said as a small army charged into the room. No ways out. Not with all these archers and mages. Suddenly I heard a whisper in my ear. "Hello my child only you can hear me. I will help you. You owe me however. You must kill Gillas. He is a child of the Lord therefore I may not lay harm to him. You however can disembowel him. Do so for me and I shall help." Astaroth said to me.

"So it must me done." I replied even though that had been my original plan. Suddenly he came to be in existence right at my side. He drew two of his three swords. His style looked so graceful. So elegant. A dance of blades so to say as he swung from one partner to the next. I saw this as my moment to get Gillis. I charged at him and tackled him. As we both fell it was a battle of strength and wits. A flying fight of fists. We both kept battling for when finally I caught him by surprise and sticks  dagger in between his ribs. That threw him off long enough to position my hand in front of his face and think the word to end it all. Firebolt. His face melted off at the intense heat and such close contact. His lifeless body collapsed and I stood as Astaroth sat staring on top a mount of dead guards cleaning his blades. Not a so for scratch or cut anywhere on him or his clothes.

"You fulfilled your half the bargain now go." he said to me.

I ran behind where Gillas had set and found Alice bound in a cage I unlocked it and she expecting to be torturing winced in pain. As I embraced her in a hug she looked up confused. As soon as she figured who it was she started to weep. "My darling I have missed you oh so much." She tried to speak in return, but could not make the words out. I ran and got a water skin off a guard and handed it to her after breaking her chains. She drank it quickly and then embraced me repeating how much she loved me over and over.

"We must start a new life for ourselves. Clare has all the guilds gold and we will take all of it from these men. We will get everything  running again. I promise." I said carrying her ingot he room with the mount of guards. After looting them all we started walking out of the Prison. We made our way back to town quickly seeing as the Prison was less than a league away. We found Clare and we all boughs  small house. We lived there for a long while just the three of us. Word got around we had survived and eventually Gerith and Fredrick found their ways to us. Finally all was in decent order once more. So there we sat training for months and months.
