I bolted awake in a dark void. What is going on? Where am I? Am I dead? I thought in my head.

"Be calmed small human." I heard a deep voice say to me before the Dragon from the dungeon appeared. I frantically tried running although it was all pointless seeing as it seemed as though I hadn't moved an inch. "I said be calmed. I am here to speak with peace not attack with violence. I could tell you are not of this world, is that correct?"

"Yes I am. I don't see how that is relevant or how that explains how I am here. What do you want from me? Why and I hear and not laying down resting with Alice?" I said screaming at it.

"You still are next to her. This is a different realm entirely. You are here because you are special. The ahead fact you can hear me is proof of that enough. My Lord is very interested in you. Very interested indeed. He would like to meet you if you would be interested. If you are not then he may not take that too kindly and may destroy you. Be warned anything you do, have done, or ever will do he will see. So long as he is alive."

"I will see him then. Only because this truly interests me. So where is he?" I asked.

"I am here, hidden in the darkness." I heard a voice say with suck cold menace it sent shivers down my spine. Slowly he became more visible. He was taller than me. His long cloak covered all of his body besides his hips down. Two swords protruded from holsters at his hips. I notice he had hardened leather armor with steel plating. Flexible but durable. Smart. I could feel the magic power emitting from him when suddenly is as thrown backwards. But he hadn't even moved not spoke he stood there still and  yet I flew. "The answer to that is simple. I have been a mage for nearly a century now. I was once a human like you however I was stronger by your age. You show more potential than I did. I wish to make you as strong as me. Maybe even stronger. Note however that this power is not free and it will not be easy to achieve. You may never achieve it. I will speak no more of it seeing as you shall awake soon, but if ever you wish to join me as my apprentice go back to floor three. If you can destroy my servant the Dragon then I will train you. It must be done alone however. Goodbye."

He started to fade away then I was thrust into reality all over again. I awake to Alice startled by me. She sat there with tears in her eyes. I grabbed her and held her in my arms. "I'm sorry love I simply had a bad dream all will be ok." I said as I got up and got dressed. I dawned all my armour and weapons. Rather than eating I packed me some food and I dashed out of the house. I quickened my pace as I quickly went out of town. I wondered down a lonely road until I finally had found a dungeon. It seemed smal enough so I thrust myself into it.

As I drew my sword I charged it with fire elements and it started flowing red before fading to its usual silver sheen. I marched on after I charged my glove up more. I feel my magic levels grow more and more little by little every time after I use it  I kept marching on until I found what was located in this dungeon.

A hand shot from the ground and grasped my lower leg. I kicked it free sending the hand flying away. Freshly dead and slightly decade zombies rose from the ground some of them grasping swords and shields. Some holding daggers. There was one in the back with a small want launching weak spells over his comrades.

They started stumbling towards me. Rather than wasting magic on these lowlifes I decided to use the blade without any elements. I grasped it firmly with my right hand. It felt like an extension of me. Like a part of my arm just longer and deadlier. I walked towards the zombies. I never realized how hard blocking and attacking at the same time would be, but sure enough it was difficult. I could only get a swing or two in before I had to block. I slowly, but surely got the hang of the sword. I kept practicing and started incorporating punches and kicks into my rhythm and technique. Wanting to further myself I sheathed the blade and prepared my fists.
