Hot and Bothered

This is my third update for today. 

Now I could do up to three updates since I'm on duty at the office right now and there's really not much to do here except monitor for some accidents brought about by the storm. I'm bored so I decided to just write and update the story.

"Pull over!" He yelled at me.

I look at him sideways, not following any of his orders. I'm not one of his employees cowering over him!

Instead, I nudged Knight asking him to go faster. Hindi naman ako nito binigo. I heard him curse.What is wrong with him anyway? I'm just having a simple ride pero heto siya at nangingialam. I nudged Knight to go faster when I noticed that he's gaining on me. I heard him curse again, right now, I could picture him totally mad and furious. Mas lalo tuloy ang kagustuhan ko na hindi nito maabutan!

Nagpatuloy kami sa aming karerahan. And I must admit, he's a very fine horseback rider. He's using Naomi, the mare we've been pairing up with Knight. A fast horse but not faster than Knight. By far, he's the fastest thorough bred in the ranch. Nothing could compete to him when it comes to horseback riding, so to see Aiden keeping up with us is a surprise.

"I'm warning you, Dominica. Stop that horse or else!"

"Or else what?" She challenged.

Knight knows the route by heart. He would know where to turn, when to stop and what parts are the most dangerous. He's trained. So when I'm with him, I trust him completely.

I looked back at Aiden, then swiftly turned back to the path. It was a swift move but his face at that moment will be forever imprinted on her mind. His soft and messy black hair is slapping across his face but he didn't mind. His eyes are pitch black like a raging storm, and his thick brows only accentuated those angry eyes. A slow delicious churning made way in my stomach at the beautiful sight.

From admiration to a horrified expression, I gasped and my eyes widened when I realized that the part of the route where Knight would eventually stop is nearing. It was so near that there's nowhere I could maneuver Knight to the left and go for another route. But still, I tried. There's no harm in trying, right?

But with this attempt.. I thought there might just be.

Knight, not knowing what to do, tried to follow my lead but couldn't. It's too late for him to maneuver. His leg accidentally tripped the other one making him almost loose his balance.

Knight panicked. I moved my body forward and gripped the reign for dear life and at the same time whispering soothing words to my horse. Mayamaya pay naging kalmante na din ito. I rubbed the side of his neck.

"Good boy.." I whispered.

As soon as she relaxed herself against her horse, she hear a growl coming up right behind her. I stiffened, making Knight stiffen too since horses sense anxiety and fear. 

Mabibigat at mararahas na hakbang ang papalapit sa akin. She didn't dare look back. More or less ay alam na niya kung sino ang papalapit sa kanya ngayon. Kung kanina ay medyo nakakatakot ang hitsura nito habang nagkakarera sila... ngayon ay hindi niya sigurado.

There was no way he didn't witness the almost accident that took place awhile ago. To not hear him yelling and growling like that when they almost lost their balance made her thought na baka hindi nito nakita. Pero base sa mabibigat na mga hakbang, alam kong kabaliktaran iyon ng gusto kong mangyari.
