Hindi mapuknat ang ngiti niya habang nag-aayos ng sarili. She took a day off. Nagulat nga ang sekretarya niya kanina ng itawag niya dito na hindi siya makakapasok.

Well who wouldn't? Gayong ngayon pa lang siya makakapag-day off na siya mismo ang may gusto. At hindi ipinipilit sa kanya ng parents niya.

She put her hair in a ponny tail and walk down the stairs. Nagtungo siya sa kusina. Her steps were literally bouncing. It's like the happiness she's feeling is gonna swallow her whole. It's terrifying and yet, she finds it exciting she's loving it.

She is feeling so damn happy. Yung tipong gusto niyang batiin ang lahat ng living things pati na mga non-living things sa bahay nila. She have the sudden urge to congratulate and hug everyone. To jump and squeel like a girl.

"You're up early. At hindi ka pa bihis. You're not going to work?"

She grinned, "Yup." She answered, giving the 'p' a popping sound.

Sinimulan niyang maglabas ng mga ingredients at mga cooking utensils mula sa cabinet nila.

Her mom frowned, "That's strange..'"

"What? Am I not allowed to take a day off now?" Biro niya dito. Hindi siya nito sinagot instead her mom walked towards her with a big frown on her face. Sinalat nito ang noo niya.

"You taking a day off is already strange. You cooking is what's pushing me at the edge here. You're not even on a high fever!"

"Mom, I have a condo. That means I know how to cook."

"But you're not in your condo and you're about to make a complicated recipe!" Then her voice suddenly relaxed, "Well, not complicated for me but for your level? You don't even know how to fry some eggs without breaking the yolk!" She bursts out again.

She was suddenly unsure. "Well... there must be some instructions here... besides, anong silbi ni google di ba?"

"No can do. If you're going to make Aiden food, it must be perfect."

"How did you even know it was for him?" She asked. Her face beet red.

"Call it mom's intuition or something. Basta, I always know when my baby girl wants a guy. You have that look that gives off the vive. Nonetheless, I'm so happy you're starting to work up on your relationship with your fiancè!"

She rolled her eyes at her mom. She was just so damn ecstatic! Mas excited pa ata siya sa akin eh.

Her mom sighed, "Forget the instructions and ditch Mr. Google. What you need is a mom's cooking expertise. No worries baby. We will make your man fall head over heels in love with you with this incredible recipe we are going to make." She hugged her and started sniffing, "Oh... my baby girl's growing up I think I'm gonna cry..."

"Oh, moms..." she grumbled.

So ang end result, natapos naman siya sa niluto niya. It was supposed to be two dishes pero dahil nabanas siya kanina dahil puro utos ang inabot niya sa mommy, isang recipe lang ang naluto niya. Sobrang strict kasi nito. At kung itinuloy nila ang ikalawang recipe, baka inabot sila ng hapon sa kusina.

Isang recipe lang iyon pero feeling niya ilang putahe na ang niluto nila. Gosh! That's why she never liked to cook in her condo. It just takes away time. Pwede mo namang orderin na lang iyon. Isa pa, siya lang din naman ang kakain so why make so much effort, right? Papagurin lang niya ang sarili niya. And for what? Para sa pagluto ng isang dish na mas mahal pa ang ingredients kesa kapag binili mo ito sa restaurant ng luto na? Tsk.

Then why did you took so much effort to cook for him then?
