Chapter 34

Later that day, Kion had a plan. He was to trick Zuri into thinking that he likes her. Without hesitation, he stated exploring the pridelands to look for Zuri.

Meanwhile...

Sage was sitting down near the watering whole. Looking at her reflextion . She saw a figure behind her and jumped into a fighting stance and stopped once she saw who it was. She sighed. "Ugh, what do you want?" "Ha, sorry I didn't mean to scare you." "Yeah right, what do you want Vitani?"

Vitani sighed and sat down right next to her. "Look, Sage, I'm really sorry for being mean to you and I felt really bad. That's why I came here and no before you ask I'm not planning anything". Vitani said brushing her bangs out of her face showing her purple eyes.

"Are you sure?" "Why else would I be here?" Sage just sighed and then plopped down to the ground. "Fine, I forgive you." "Yay!" Vitani jumped up in joy and hugged her. "Thanks Sage." "Haha no problem you really happy." "Yeah, I know, I met this really nice cub named Asamba he's so cute!"She squealed.

(Pic above not mine XD) "Oh really?" Sage snickered. "Yup and were together!" "That's nice Vitani, I'm really happy for you." "Thanks." You should meet him som-" "Vitani?"

Vitani stopped in her tracks. "Omg its him!" A male cub slowly approached both of them and stopped. "Hey."
"Hey Asamba!" Vitani ran up to him and hugged him and he hugged her back. "Asamba this is my friend Sage." She said cheerfully. He slowly aproched her and she stared in his eyes and how green they were and how nice he looked. "Hey Sage." Asamba said. "Uhuh Hi." She said lost in his eyes. She thought in her mind "wait what the heck am I doing I'm with Kion but Asamba is cute though wait whattt?!?"

Sage snapped out and said "oh sorry, I was thinking of something." She said started to panic a little bit. "Hey guys I'll meet up with you later I got to go." Sage said starting to run off. "Bye Sage." Asamba and Vitani said in unison.

A few minutes later....

Kion finally found Zuri with Brittany, his ex... He rolled his eyes and walked up to both of them. "Hey guys, what's up?" They both stopped talking and jumped once they heard kions voice. "Ugh hey kion, what's up?" Zuri said. "Um I need to talk to you." "Ohh um sure." Zuri nodded her head for Brittany to leave and she nodded her head back and left looking back at Kion. He looked at her confused and just rolled his eyes.

"So, what do you need kion?"

"Well, you are my friend right?" Zuri was so confused. "Umm eha yeah.." "And you would do anything for me right?" "Yeah of course!" Zuri started to get hyped. "Good cause I need to tell you one thing." "What is is?" She started to get happy and nervous at the same time. "You are really beautiful you know." Kion said bouncing his eyebrows up and down. Zuri started blushing and becoming really happy. She slowly backed up and said "Oh uh thank you?" Kion walked towards her making her fall down. He was real close to her face. "And your cute when you blush." He said. She blushed madly and started laughing. "Thank you kion." She said.

Sage was looking for Kion and finally found him. She was about to say his name but stopped at the sight of what she saw. Kion and Zuri. "Are you kidding me??" She said in a soft voice. Tears started to roll down her eyes but she sucked it up and ran away. Once she was far away from them, she started crying really loud. She ran all the way to the watering hole and just started crying.

A cub heard her crying and walked up to her. "Hey what's wrong Sage?" She recognized the voice and it was Asamba. Her heart started beating fast.
"M-my mate is c-c-cheating on me a-again!" She said bursting in to tears again. "And I'm supposed to be marrying him I can't do this!" She yelled. Asamba slowly sat down next to her and wrapped his paws around her. "Sshhh it's okay it's okay." He said in a soothing calm voice. "Its not okay I love him so much and now he wants to marry me and yet he goes out there and cheats on me the fourth time!"

Asamba sighed and said "Maybe you need a break from him." "Yeah, I totaly do he has a son also but whatever." Asamba was shocked. "You have a son?" "Yeah, we do." She sighed and got up.

"Thanks Asamba." She said hugging him." "No problem." He replied back giving her a friendly lick on the cheek. Sage felt sparks fly everywhere and she smiled. They both walked back to Vitani and talked for a while and had fun swimming in the watering hole and just enjoyed themselves and later on went to sleep.
