Korra's P.O.V.
It's only been a few weeks since I moved to Republic City and this place doesn't fail to amaze me ever since. We don't have anything like this place back in my tribe for sure. The only reason I don't get lost is, that I have my white polar bear-dog with me at all times. And she can always find a way home. Republic City is astonishing but it also is full of danger. On my first day of arrival I've met a couple guys from 'Triple Thread Triad' and if I hadn't known how to defend myself properly, they would have robbed me, or worse. Despite the fact that criminal rate in the region is high, I still decided to travel through. I'm staying over uncle Tenzin's house, but I don't want to become a burden to him or his family so I always try to stay out as much as possible. I want to prove to my parents that I can lead my independent life by myself and I don't need anyone taking care of me all the time. Well, except for Naga of course. I haven't managed to make any friends yet, but maybe I'll meet someone I could get along with in the future.
Naga started to circle around, pointlessly trying to track down the scent again. "Are we lost, girl?" I asked. That's what I was most afraid of. "Well, that's okay... We can always ask for directions, right?" The dog looked at me and barked playfully. "Excuse me, could you tell me where..." I asked a man hurriedly passing by but he gave me cold shoulder in answer. "Yue Bay is..." I finished the question but it was pointless to expect any response back cause the man was already too far away to hear me.
"You're looking for Yue Bay?" I heard a man's voice and turned around to face him. The 'man' was around my age. He looked extremely handsome wearing a black fancy suit. I've felt my cheeks getting hotter and couldn't think about the answer so I just nodded in response. "You are too far from home, aren't you?!" Is that so obvious that I'm not from Republic City?
"Yeah." I replied and sighed. "I'm from Southern Water Tribe."
"Oh, I didn't mean that." He giggled. "What I meant is, you are too far from Yue Bay... I was headed to that direction anyway, so I could drop you there if you'd like." Is this for real?! I mean, this can't be happening. I nodded again. "Who's the beauty over there?" He started to pet the dog's head. Naga hesitated at first but soon started to swing her tail around in joy.
"Naga." I couldn't find words to give a full response and my legs were so weak that I could have fallen anytime soon.
"And who's the owner?" He asked winking.
"I am... Korra." I answered at last.
"How rude of me... I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Mako Sann... Pleased to meet you." I stretched out a hand. Instead of shaking hands, he grabbed mine and kissed it softly, not breaking eye contact. Electricity ran through my body as I was already trembling but somehow managed to stay still. "Follow me, please. The driver is waiting for me in the car." He has a driver?
"Welcome back, Mr. Sann. Where are we headed today?" The driver asked when Mako opened the door of the black limousine for me.
"Yue Bay..." He answered and looked at me. "But before we go there, I have to grab some documents from the house real quick, if you don't mind." I shook my head and sat down. Mako set next to me and the driver started the engine. "So do you study here?"
"Nope... I'm just travelling across the United Republic and decided to stop by." I answered and felt my hands getting sweaty.
"That's a shame..." Mako replied, slowly grabbing my hand. Just then Naga jumped onto me and forced Mako to spare place for her between me and him. Why did you do this to me, Naga?
"Urgh." Naga started to lick my face. "Stop. Pft... Stop it, girl!" Mako looked at me with a wide smirk on his face. Oh, no. Did I look weird? Am I funny? Did I say something stupid? Please, say something!
"We've arrived." The driver noted and I was reminded that there were more sightseeings to look at besides Mako's face. But I couldn't take my eyes off him the whole way here.
"It will take a while and I don't want you to wait for me here... In the car... Would you mind following me?" Mako glanced at me expectedly.
"Umm... Okay."

Meanwhile Asami parked the motorcycle near the familiar building.
"Hey, old man." Asami called out as she entered the property. Only after making sure that there was nobody nearby except for the person she needed, she took the helmet off.
"I'm not that old." The man answered from another room and the girl followed his voice where she found the man who she was looking for. "Where have you been? You haven't visited us for weeks." Toza embraced the girl in a tight hug.
"Problems at the office... Haven't been home for days." The girl replied and sighed. "Can you find a room for me?" Asami asked smiling.
"For you?! Always..." He led Asami to the room. "I kept all your equipment... Gloves, hand wraps and boxing shoes are on the shelf. And you can see other stuff by yourself. If you'll need anything else, you know where to find me." Sato looked around the area and noticed punching and speed bags.
"I'll be fine, thank you." Toza nodded and left Sato alone.
Since Asami was a little kid, Hiroshi made sure that his little daughter could fight back if necessary. And the chances that a successor of a rich businessman might have gotten kidnapped in a city full of criminals, were pretty high.
After her father's arrest Asami quit training, because every time she fought, she was reminded of Hiroshi. But boxing still remained the only way for her to relax.
