Asami's P.O.V.

"Ms. Sato." I've recognized that swift voice immediately, then heard a quiet knock on the door.

"Come in." I replied and tried to get up but felt burning all over my stomach so I gave up. It took me a while to realize that I was home but surprisingly I recognized the voice of my housekeeper. Personally I'm against having maids but it was Mako's idea and as much as it pains me to admit, there should be someone taking care of house duties and I obviously don't have time for that. Speaking of the house, I couldn't remember how I got here, everything was mashed up in my head.

"Pardon my intrusion." Ginger said and walked in. "Oh.." She covered her mouth in shock. Trust me, she wasn't the only one confused. Was something wrong? To think of it, I've been feeling a bit odd but I thought it was because of the wound. I looked down and noticed Korra's arms tightly wrapped around my waist. She was sleeping next to me, on me, all this time. I felt my cheeks heating up and decided to change the position but the wound started to ache so I didn't go far. Korra mumbled something under her breath. My face started to burn. As did my whole body. I looked at shocked Ginger and then back at Korra. Ginger cleared her throat, hinting that she was the one I should be paying attention to. "What I was trying to say is, that anonymous left a letter next to the entrance this morning. It's from Hiroshi Sato."

"A letter?... From prison?!" I asked and couldn't hold back laughter. Somebody was obviously messing with me. I might have messed up that day in 'Kwong's Cuisine', but nobody had the right to make fun of dearest to me people. Ginger handed me a letter, it was signed by my father. I could always identify his signature. "It's from him." I muttered and felt tears run down my cheeks. Ginger nodded and slowly closed the door.

'Sweetie, I know, that I have no right to contact you like this. I can't forgive myself for all the horrible things I've done. I don't expect you to forgive me either. I regret every decision after the love of my life passed away. I acted irrationally and stopped caring about the only reason I kept living for. I've torn our family apart and destroyed the good name of the company. The only thing that makes my life worth living in this world, is you. I just want you to know how proud I am for having a daughter like you. Asami, you are the greatest thing I've ever created. I can't let anyone hurt you, even if I'm not there to protect you. I am aware of what happened and might have information that could help you, but I'm afraid I can't trust a piece of paper with the secret.'

"You okay, Asami?" Korra yawned and tried to raise her head off my stomach. I wiped away tears and nodded biting lip. "Umm... Okay." She said rubbing her neck. "I... I want you to know... Um... You can trust me with anything... So, if there is something bothering you... You can always tell me..."

Korra's P.O.V.

Asami's voice woke me up. I wasn't wide awake then but I was sure I've heard someone mention Hiroshi Sato's name. And how come I didn't consider that Asami and Hiroshi might have been related before? Come on, Korra, that was so obvious. 'Future Industries'. A businessman getting arrested for drugs, Asami owning a palace and a skyscraper? I didn't have to be Sherlock to come up with that conclusion. But still, it hit me now.

"... You can always tell me." I couldn't help myself but blush after realizing that I've been sleeping on Asami the whole night. I'm used to having Naga around all the time so I've developed this strange habit of which, for the record, I'm very embarrassed right now.

Just then ginger haired wild creature jumped on the bed out of nowhere and hissed, scaring the life out of me. She looked like tinier version of Garfield. And skinnier. Who names a ginger cat Raven?!.. "Look, Raven's found us." I whispered petting the kitten's head. She started to purr in answer.

"Yes, she has." Asami replied giggling. I couldn't find out what was going on and what made her so sad but at least I saw her smile and that made me a lot happier too. Someone knocked on the door. "Come in, Ginger."

"There are... people outside." Ginger replied, exchanging troubled glances with me.

Asami's P.O.V.

"Be right back, Korra." People?

"What's going on, Lin?" I asked as soon as I saw chief of police and her division waiting at the entrance. There were some reporters with their cameras and a journalist recording too but they were held back by officers.

"We have reasons to believe, there's a runaway criminal in your estate." Lin Beifong answered and signaled officers to start searching. They scattered all over the house. "You haven't been blamed for anything yet. Stay out of this, Asami." I've known Lin Beifong for a long time, since my mother got murdered to be exact and she had never looked this serious.

"You think, I wouldn't have known if there was somebody hiding in my own house?" I would gladly offer help but I was sure about my estate's security system. There was no way of someone getting in and out without me knowing it. "The lies you people come up with just to ruin Sato's reputation." The last time they invaded my home, they arrested my father. I don't have anyone left to be taken away from me.

"Kid, it was hard to destroy the evidence that proved your connection with Korra..."

"What does Korra have to do with this?" I interrupted. It didn't take me long to figure out that Korra was the person they were looking for. "What is she guilty of?"

"Conspiracy against the federal government. I can't tell you other than that." What does Korra have to do with federal government?
