[Warning : Swearing in this chapter, sorry 'bout that]

When we enter the builder, we're immediately met with a group of police officers asking questions of who we are, why we're here, and asking for identification. I stay quiet as Fisher and  my parents show their identification. I look around the room and block out everybody's voices. The room is small, with greyish white bricks lining the walls. There's no windows besides the ones in the front doors, and three small brown doors. Two are at the back of the room, most likely leading to different court rooms, and my guess for the third is some sort of 'spare room'.

I look around the crowd of officers and notice a familiar face. It's the man who I met when my parents and I first came to the police station and I admitted what happened. He offers me a small smile and walks towards me. I feel Fishers hand protectively rest on my shoulder, he must be looking at the cop as well.

"Hey Dustin." the man says, and a wave my hand politely "Do you mind if you stepped aside with me? I just want to explain what's going to happen now, and what you're going to have to do. It'll only take a minute." he motions to the side of the room where it's not as crowded.

I hear Fisher growl quietly, so quiet that I can barely hear it, and I place my hand on his. "It's alright." I mumble "You go ahead, I'll only be a few seconds." Fisher looks down at me and I avoid his gaze but see that he wants to say something, probably to dismiss the cop, but he just sighs.

"Okay. I'll be waiting for you." he removes his hand from my shoulder and walks over to my parents.

The policeman leads me off to the side. "How you doing Dustin?" he asks and motions towards a small bench that I hadn't noticed before. We sit.

"Alright, I guess." I shrug.

"Okay. Do you need anything? Do you want anything? Because we can get it for you." he asks while waving his hands around as if to emphasise it's importance or truth.

"No, I'm okay. It would be nice to know your name though..." I trail off.

"Oh! Have I not properly introduced myself?" he looks embarrassed and I nod my head lightly "I apologise about that, I'm officer Johnson."

I nod and smile weakly. I then notice that everybody is going through one of the doors into the courtroom. I see Fisher look back at me and I turn away quickly.

"So would you like me to explain what's going to happen in there?" he gestures to the door where everybody had just entered.

I nod again.

"Well through that door is a court, I assume you already figured that out?"

I nod once again.

"You're a smart kid Dustin. Anyways, in that courtroom there is a small group of people, the judge, jury, other police officers and a few extra people. We've kept everything as private as possible at your request so there is no media here or extra people, but there are a few cameras around the room for the police station and any extra evidence if needed. When we go in that courtroom, the judge will explain everything to the jury and we will have a few witnesses go up, your friend Fisher and a couple other people. You will have to go up at one point too, all you have to is say what you said to us at the station and you'll be able to sit down again. Then we will question the defendant for a small amount of time before showing the last pieces of evidence. They are the pictures we took of you at the station and the pictures found on the defendant's phone."

I look up at him "Pictures? I thought he took a video?"

Officer Johnson shakes his head "Apparently not. It appears he either deleted them or was bluffing about taking a video."
