I stayed with Dustin until it was ten pm. He had almost instantly fallen asleep when I had gotten into bed with him, and was still in a deep slumber.

My arm was sore, but I couldn't move due to Dustin. I hadn't moved once all night and was lying on my good arm which I had wrapped around Dustin, so my arm had been crushed under him for the entire time.

At one point during Dustin's sleep, his mother appeared in the doorway. I gave her an apologetic look and she laughed quietly, then crept into the room and took the empty bowl off Dustin's desk and whispered "I'll let your parents know." to me before leaving the room.

I needed to get home now, as much as I wanted, I couldn't stay with Dustin all night. Slowly I began to wiggle out of Dustin's grasp, moving his arms to his side and pulling mine out from underneath him. I slid my legs off the bed and managed to stand. then, I pulled the blanket back up to cover Dustin's body.

As I did that, he let out a soft noise and opened his eyes slighty.

"Fisher?" he mewled. He began to move around, and started to prop himself up on his arms.

"Shh. Go back to sleep." I whispered and pressed him back down.

"Don't want to sleep without you..." he responded as he put his head back on his pillow.

"There's not enough room D."

"We can sleep on the floor."

I chuckled "Go to sleep. We'll see each other tomorrow."

"Promise?"

"I promise."

Dustin nodded and snuggled back into the covers, closing his eyes and falling back asleep. I smiled, and exited his room. I made my way downstairs to the front door. I passed his parents and they gave me thankful smiles. I then waved to them, a silent goodbye, and left the house.

I walked briskly back to my house, crossing my arms as I did due to the cold. I made my way to the front door and opened it, locking it after I entered. As I went to my room, I couldn't help but think about Dustin, and how cute he was then.

L let my mind wander for a bit, then realised that I wasn't moving. I had just stopped on the stairs.

"Focus on what you're doing Fisher." I grumbled to myself and finally made it to my room. Once inside, I just pulled off my shirt and sweater and flopped on my bed. I bury my face into my pillow and will myself to fall asleep.

[The Next Day]

Sleeping turned out to be a lot harder than I expected. My mind had been completely awake thinking about everything that had happened in the past few days. It definitely didn't feel like only a week had passed, it felt more like four years.

I'm awake way before my alarm goes off. I had given up at sleep around five forty, it was pointless at that point. I was all ready for school by the time seven rolled around. I had nothing to do, so I wandered into the kitchen and helped my mum with random tasks.

I tried to focus on what I was doing, but my mind kept wandering back to Dustin. For some reason I couldn't get him out of my mind, he had firmly planted himself in my brain.

Eventually, I gave up on trying to rid thoughts about Dustin from my mind and just gave up. I sat on my couch and allowed my imagination to go wild.

When I finally left to meet Dustin at his house, there was a huge smile on my face. I don't think anyone has ever been in my head so much or ever made me so happy before.
