Jin and I had managed to make many more beams brittle, while Katara and Aang just went around, weakening the metal further by adding a little moisture to the metal. Once they got the water into the metal, they would make the water expand, cracking the metal, then extract the water and move on. The beams were buckling more and more, starting to look a little precarious.
Katara and Aang were working on one when Aang stopped them.
"Ok, that's enough," he breathed. "Onto the next one."
And so we moved on.
