A/N: Hello, my lovelies~ So Sasha is gone away now, so it's just me. I am going to apologize in advance. I get bored really easily, so I might forget to upload/write for a bit. The only reason I've written as much as I have is that I've had Sasha chasing me every so often when he couldn't write anymore because he can't quite get Amaya right. Anyway. Have a chapter! Please leave comments; they actually do motivate me.

The sun dipped low when Aang decided to rejoin us. Katara went from leading the pack to running over to check on him. Personally, I could understand why he was so upset, but at the same time, I was still pissed at his immediate reaction to blame the rest of us. So I didn't jump for joy to see him. But I was glad he was OK.

Katara waited for him to face us for a total of one minute before she tried comforting him. She was such a mom sometimes.

"I'm sorry, Aang," she said quietly, approaching him and reaching out to his shoulder. "I know it's hard for you right now, but we need to focus on getting out of here..."

"What's the difference?" he moaned. "We won't survive without Appa. We all know it."

"Dunno about you, but I don't plan to roll over and die," I said, crossing my arms. "Mog, you talk to him."

"But the hot!" he complained. "I'm melting!"

He put up his hands defensively when I glared at him.

"Fine, I'll talk to him."

"Good."

Mogui walked over to Aang and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"We can't find Appa if we're dead," he said softly to the little Airbender. "We gotta concentrate on staying alive so that we can get the big hairball back."

"He's not just a big hairball!" Aang seemed to be getting angry again.

"That's right," Mogui interrupted. "He's our hairball and our friend. And we're gonna get him back."

Aang nodded.

"But first, we gotta stay alive," Mog seemed to remember something, turning the airbender to face him. "Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten."

"It also means we kick the ass of whoever hurt them," Jin commented. "Sandbenders took him, but I don't think they still have him. They also know this desert a lot better than we do. Either we find sandbenders or out. Either one will lead us to Appa eventually."

"Exactly, but losing our heads right now isn't something we can afford," I added.

"Like Muteki said, how hard can it be to find a big hairy bison?" Jin threw me a grin, and I rolled my eyes at her.

"Not my exact words, but yeah, essentially that."

"We can do this if we work together," Katara tried the hopeful approach. "Right, Toph?"

"As far as I can feel," Toph didn't share the optimism... "We're trapped in a giant bowl of sand pudding. I got nothin'."

"Sokka?" Katara was all but pleading now. "Any ideas how to find Ba Sing Se?"

"Why don't we ask the circle birds?" He pointed up at the buzzards overhead.

Great...

"We're getting out of this desert, and we're going to do it together!" Now Katara's mad. "Aang, get up. Everybody, hold hands. We can do this. We have to."

"We're off to see the wizard?" Mogui asked.

"The Wonderful Wizard Of Ba Sing Se!" I shouted, linking arms with him, and we began to skip merrily down the dune.

And then Toph stumbled.

So I went back.
