"Where have you been?"
Zuko paused and glanced over at me. I was leaning on the doorframe to the little house we were staying in, Amaya and Iroh already asleep.
"What's it to you? I just went for a walk."
"Amaya would kill you if she knew you were picking on people," I inspected my nails before glancing at him from beneath my eyelashes. "Careful she doesn't find out."
"I haven't been picking on anyone!" he growled.
Before he could step past me, I caught his arm.
"I know what you did," I muttered. "Amaya does too. She's ignoring it because she wasn't pleased about it either, but she won't ignore it next time. You can't rob someone because they made you angry."
Zuko pulled his arm out of my hand. "You don't know anything about me."
"I know more than you think."
He scoffed and went inside.
