This cave is a bit cosy...

I was trying to ignore Chong, but it was pretty hard when he yelled that the cave was changing and how it must be the curse. Boohoo buddy. Katara said something to me, and I said something intelligent like "Huh?"

"Everyone be quiet. Listen," Katara got everyone to shut up.
I got a bad feeling... Like something was gonna happen... The noise was coming from further down the cave...
"Sokka," I said. "Duck..."
I threw a small fireball down the tunnel illuminating at least a hundred bats and a big beast... I think... It looked like a big beast... Kind of like a badger... Kind of like a mole, about the size of a small truck... Wait... What?

And the roof collapsed... Right over my head... It was all I could do to dive out of the way... and straight into Sokka...

As soon as the ground settled, Sokka began clawing at the new cave wall, trying to get to his sister.
I felt sorry for the guy, but not as sorry as when Chong said, "Yeah, it's no use. We're separated. But at least you have us!"
We both physically cringed...
