Listen to the song in the sidebar while reading to experience its UNTIMATE EFFECT (Chester see, say something)

My arms were shaking as I pulled Maris body slowly towards my chest.

I panicked.

What would happen if I. Couldn't get Mari out in time?

I threw open the bathroom door and lunged myself at the phone hanging on the wall off the hotel room.

Pressing frantically at the emergency buttons, I finally got an answer.

"Hello? what seems to be the problem?"

"It's Mari..."

"Mari, in the emergency room?"

"Yes! that's her! please send help!!"

"Hello? sir? what's wrong with her? where is she?"

"She's in her room... She's b-bleeding.... heavily... please, just send help!!"

"The emergency ward is on their way down. I need you to remain calm and report any dangerous symptoms."

"She's bleeding, I don't even know if she's..."

"Sir? are you there? is Mari breathing?"

"Yes...just"

"Thank you sir. Are you aware of the cause?"

I didn't want to speak. it seemed unrealistic what she'd done.

"Sir?"

"Mari... uh..."

"Sir?"

"Mari... she, uh... our friends may have just passed... and Mari wasn't taking it too well... I think

I think she

Tried to

Killed herself."

The phone was silent and then a nervous voice broke through the line.

"A-are you sure?"

I nodded slightly.

"Yes,"

"Thank you sir." The voice ended abruptly and all that was left was a slight beeping.

------------------------------------------------

My hands gently shook as I lay Mari across the bed.

Most of the blood streaked across her wrists had dried, and the breathing was now unsteady, but constant.

I sighed and slowly latched the phone back onto the wall.

Mari seemed so helpless. Just lying on the bed, covered in stains.

My head lent down closer to hers, begging her to say or do anything.

"Mari," I whispered as quietly as I could. My gaze drew to her limp hand over the side if the bed.

I felt my fingers slide from my lap and into her hand. I did it slowly and gently, as if it could hurt her at any moment.

My fingers tightened around the back of her hand. Her fingers giving a weak tug in return.

The outside world was quiet, for a moment it seemed like it was only us that mattered.

I let out another long sigh as time seemed to stretch.

Any moment now she would recover, and I could tell her everything that I went through. she knew I still loved her. I always had. But knowing she felt for me nothing more then friendship, shattered me

I had never loved anyone as much as I had her. True love can't be matched.

But there was one thing in the way of that.

Ian.

The door burst open and interrupted my thoughts.

I slid off the bedside to face two large men.

They came rushing in, hesitant when they saw the condition that Mari was in.

"I-is she...?"

"She's breathing, yes." I wanted to get this over as soon as I possibly could.

"R-right." They glanced at each other momentarily, without a word, and then slung Mari onto the stretcher they brought with them, leaving behind a puddle of red liquid where Mari had been lying.

They hauled her out of the small, dark hotel room and into a dim, cold corridor.

I wasn't sure which was worse.
