11:30 pm on Friday
"How am I going to get her this year?" I thought out loud to myself as my eyes scanned over the map in front of me.
I looked at the hand drawn, yet very accurate, map with intent and purpose sketched on my face. My hands rested on my hips as I stared at the dotted lines which symbolized the trails. I strategically cut down trees and pulled up shrubs so that people naturally walked on them without realizing it. They weren't so warn that it was easy to see that it was a trail, but it was the easiest way to navigate so people followed them unconsciously.
My finger traced around the dotted line that connected the start line to the lake. The girl must be around this area.
I grabbed my pen and notebook. I wrote the date in the corner before starting to write out my plan.
Lure her away.
How exactly was I going to do that? I tapped the pen against my chin as I thought about the scenarios. I had to get her alone, but I didn't know enough about her to do that. My eyes skimmed over the shelf to my right. Bottles of chloroform, bleach, ammonia, and ethanol sat on the top shelf. Below that, a crow bar, brass knuckles, and some other miscellaneous objects were scattered across the dusty panel. On the last shelf, the narcotics, needles, and other various vials of medicine sat in alphabetical order right next to my other journals. I smiled inwardly as my mind flashed through the hidden contents in those journals, then the thought hit me. Chloroform would be my best bet.
I made sure to pick the bottle labeled 'chloroform' and set it on the desk.
Bind her.
I jerked open the top drawer, shoving the contents around inside. I thought about my options: Rope, wire ties, duct tape, electrical wires. I didn't want to leave any damaging marks on her beautiful skin, but I also wanted to make sure she couldn't run away from me. Rope and wire ties were too violent and would leave bruises on her wrists, and I figured that if I used duct tape then I could tape her mouth as well.
I nodded my head as I picked up the tape and placed it carefully down next to the bottle of chloroform.
Carry her home.
I glanced outside at the shed, thinking of my options. There was the wagon, but that was so small and dirty. Definitely couldn't use that. I had the wheelbarrow, but I didn't feel like that was appropriate either. I take out the trash with that wheelbarrow, and she was definitely not trash. That only left the sled.
Yeah the long, plastic, blue s;led that I use when it snows. I like to change things up from the cliche way to transport unconscious people.
Welcome her home.
I slowly stepped out into the hallway, running my fingertips along the wall as I walked to the spare bedroom-our bedroom. I grinned as I sat down on the bed, resting my hands behind my head. My eyes raked across the room, at the closet which was stocked full of clothes, at the dresser which held beautiful jewelry, and the beautiful flowers just waiting for her to smell. I sighed dreamily, relaxing. My fingers skimmed the silky fabric beneath me as I sat up. Everything would be as I'd hope. We were going to live happily ever after. She was the one.
When I had finally made it back to the study, I sat down to write down the last step to the perfect plan.
Take out the trash.
I smiled, reclining back in the desk chair.
Yes.
It was the perfect plan.
