My Dearest | JANTHONY

Chapter 1

I take a deep breath, and walk into the theatre. I've never been in a real musical before, and I'm scared. I've only met Lin, the writer and the actor playing Alexander, and he's really nice. I don't know what to expect. Hopefully everyone is as nice as Lin.

Right when I walk in, I see two men talking.

I walk up to them and ask, "Hey! I'm Jasmine. By chance, do either of you know where I am supposed to go? I'm in the cast of Hamilton."

"We are too. I'm Daveed. This is Oak." Daveed says, motioning to the man beside him. I smile.

"Everyone is backstage. We're still waiting for a few people." Oak says.

I smile and say, "Thanks, nice to meet you both." They both give me a warm smile as I walk off.

I still don't know where backstage is, so I just turn a random corner, and it's just another hall. I pull out my phone, and text Lin.

"Where is backstage? I'm in the theatre and I'm totally lost!"

I see the bubble pop up, meaning he's texting back. I only stare at my phone and keep walking with my head down. Soon, I bump into someone. I fall to the ground.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" The person says. I look up to see a handsome boy around my age, with his curly, black hair back in a ponytail. He holds out his hand to help me up. I hold on to it and pull myself up.

"No worries. It was my fault. I was just looking at my phone." I laugh.

"I was doing the same thing!" He chuckles.

"I'm Anthony." He says, shaking my hand.

"I'm Jasmine. Do you know where backstage is?" I ask.

"That's where I'm headed right now. Follow me."

"Thanks, I'm completely lost." I say, walking beside him.

I feel my phone buzz in my hand. I know it's Lin, but I don't check it. That would take my eyes away from Anthony.
