Pippa comes back, but without Anthony. "Where is he?" I blurt, standing up in a hurry.
"He won't let me talk to him he only wants to talk to you." She says, pointing to me. My breath catches in my throat. "O-Okay." I stutter.
I walk out to the opposite backstage, and see Anthony pacing backa and forth. "Anthony?" I ask, revealing myself.
"Jasmine." He sighs, he comes in for a hug,
But I step away.
"Why did you want to talk to me?" I ask, basically demanding he answer.
"Um-I just-I want you, Jasmine. I really do." He says, making too many hand motions for me to count.
"Than why did you date Carleigh? It doesn't make any sense, Anthony. Why?" I ask. Anthony only sighs and flops down on the couch.
"You just looked so fu**ing beautiful tonight. I couldn't resist. I love you."
It's been a while since he's said those words.
"I..I don't know..." I trail off, not finishing my thought. "You don't know what?" He asks, getting up and grabbing my hand.
"I don't think I can." I say, breathlessly. Tears start forming in my eyes. Anthony looks hurt. "Well, not publicly at least. Everyone think I was a total bit** if I went back to you right after you and Carleigh broke up." I expalin.
"Okay-Good plan. So.. we date in private?" He asks, letting my hand free from his grasp.
"It's the only way, Ant." I say.
"Whatever I have to do to be with you." He sings in the tune of 'What the Heck I Gotta Do to be With You' from 21 Chump Street. It makes me laugh. He smiles at the sight of me laughing for the first time in a while.
"Okay." I say, smiling. He hugs my side and kiss the top of my head.
Nobody needs to know.
