Chapter 44

Anthony and I make our way home from the show. I can't stop smiling. Niether can Anthony. But I continue to feel more and more quilty about Oak.

As I walk through the door, Anthony says from behind me, "That was an eventful night!" As he plops the keys on the counter top.

"I need to tell you something." I blurt out, turning around. Anthony raises an eyebrow, and says, "What is it?"

I sigh and say, "Oak and I kissed a few days ago." Anthony doesn't say anything. "But I can assure you it meant absolutely nothing. It just happened I don't even remember but-" I'm cut off by an abrupt hig from Anthony. "I'm so, so sorry." I say, starting to cry.

Anthony pulls away and whispers, "Hey, don't cry. I'm just happy that you were honest with me. You told me something that I would've never been brave enough to tell you." I smile and say, "I love you." He says the same.

After everything has calmed down, I get a text if the video from Gregory where Anthony proposed. I post it, and the comments go absolutely CRAZY! People are reposting, and commenting like lunatics.

Everyone from the cast posts about it. I'm so, so happy. I can't think of how anything could get any better. I'm still really relieved Anthony forgave me.

He's amazing.

The next morning, Anthony and I go to lunch with my parents. We go to some random restaurant by the theatre, since Anthony and I were walking there right after.

"So, any plans for the wedding yet?" My mom asks, taking a bite of her salad. I smile and say, "We just got engaged, so no. Not yet." My mom chuckles and nods.

We continue to talk about the wedding, invites, and anything else wedding related we can think of.

We wrap up the lunch, and Anthony and I rush to the theatre. We meet fans at the stagedoor, and we get an overwhelming amount of comments about the engagement.

"JANTHONY GETTING MARRIED IS MY HEADCANNON FOR MY FANFICTION!"

"OMG!! I CALLED THIS!!"

"NAME THE BABY PHILIP PLEASE!"

Baby? Whoa, it's just an engagement. I laugh at all the comments, and when we walk in, there's a sign saying 'Congratulations!' And all the cast is together. It's a surprise party. Everyone cjeers when Anthony and I enter.

We laugh and Anthony asks, "What's all this?" "An engagement party, duh!" Andrew sassily states. I chuckle, and we all eat cake, until we have to go on for our show.
