Railyn

I kicked, jumped and dogged in less then a few seconds. Due to my fast movements, two of my opponents were laying on the floor and the third was helplessly aiming his sword at me. I easily slapped the sword out of his hand and with a swift swing, pulled my blade up to his throat.

"Defeat! Good job Railyn!", Jun clapped and smiled at me. He was the sun of Poseidon and the house leader of the sea gods cabin in the camp. One of the best fighters ever and my training mentor. By now he was the only one who could defeat me.

I waved at him and strolled over to him. "Hey are you bored already?", I nodded towards his thin, causal cloths and the missing weapons.

"What do you mean with bored already? It's past seven, you basically slaughtered the whole camp. At least let them recover and take a rest at the night", he snorted.

"Oh", I didn't even notice how late it was.

Jun chuckles and nodded over to the cabins, "Bring your sword to the Hephaistos cabin and get your butt to the dinning hall". He stated and left.

I sighed and got all my belongings, the bloody knives and the discharged shield, that was no longer useable after an especially angry Jeonghan grilled it. I would have to ask the Hephaistos kids to repair it and maybe check the plate of my sword.

Covered with various weapons I made my way downhill to the cabins. My first stop was Hephaistos house. I knocked at the door and hoped that it wouldn't be Jeonghan that answered, I was sure he still had a grudge against me, maybe I shouldn't have called him a little girl.

To my luck it wasn't Jeonghan who opend the heavy door. Therefore it was Seungcheol. Big puppy eyes, a cute pouty mouth and a mob of black hair that topped his beautiful face. My heart dropped down at least ten floors. Why did it have to be him?! I would have preferred fighting Jeonghan over meeting him, my crush of the last eight years.

While his face screamed cute and harmless, it were his arms and tights that made my legs weak. The way his muscles tensed and the tiny veins along his arms showed whenever he would swing his hammer fascinated me and made my body slightly tingle.

"Hey, Railyn. Do you need me to repair your stuff? Jeonghan came by earlier complaining about you wearing everyone today", he chuckled and I felt how every hair on my body vibrated by the soft sound. He knew my name.

"Yeah", I tried to smile softly until I realized that my smiles are as wide as my face and make me look like a tortured frog. Shit. I clapped my put my hands over my moth to hide the creeping red on my face.

Seungcheol repeated his cute giggle and started to put on a fire, hot and big enough to repair my weapons. "If you want you can stay and take a look. I know you Ares kids are usually only interested in breaking swords, but it can be quite fascinating to see how they are created", Seungcheol winked at me.

Only interested in breaking swords... Is that how I came off? I but my lip and looked down. I might fight a lot and might have broken a lot of weapons from my opponents, but my swords and knifes are my most important positions.

"Sorry", I murmured and looked down. Good way to go Railyn, the guy you like thinks you enjoy destroying all his hard work.

Seungcheols eyes widened in his signature, cute puppy way and he shook his head lightly, "That wasn't supposed to be offensive, I only meant... Like... Maybe you would just like to learn how to repair your weapons".

I nodded and tried for a smile again, this time only lightly. It seemed to work better than the other one, because Seungcheol smiled back and took the weapons from me. And no, I did not totally notice how his hand touched mine and felt my heart stop for a second.

Seungcheol lead through the cabin and to a second room. The door that connected the two rooms was closed and made out of metal, as soon as Seungcheol opened it, I knew why. There were at least three big open fire places, a oven and a wall with different kinds of hammers and other helpful repairing items.

We went to the third fireplace, since the other two were already burned down. No one else was around and I wondered why Seungcheol stayed in the Hephaistos house when everyone else already went to get dinner.

The older tossed a piece of metal that was placed at the fireplace on the ground and started to work on my weapons.

It was fascinating to watch how the metal became liquid and reformed under Seungcheols able hands. How the colors turned to a different shades of gray and finally silver.

After a while my eyes started wandering, first up his arms, to follow the flexing and loosing motion of his muscles, to his chest and shoulders. His shirt was trenched in sweat and little drops rolled down his neck. It made the white shirt even tighter around his muscles and his shirt see through. I caught myself staring at him.

"Hey, could you pass me that hammer over there?", he looked up swiped the sweat from his forehead, looking at me expectingly.

"S-sure", I jumped up and ran to the hammer to give it to him.

On my way back, my right foot hit something small and when I looked down I saw the metal item he had thrown away.

I picked it up, it was a small golden bracelet, decorated with little silvern and rose-golden flowers. It was beautiful. Why would he throw it away?

"Hammer?", his question tore me out of my thoughts and I went over and gave him the hammer.

"Why would you throw it away?", I held out the bracelet.

Seungcheol didn't even look up, "It was supposed to be a present, but the girl I wanted to give it to... She wouldn't accept it".

I felt my body go numb, my fascination about the bracelet and my happiness about spending time alone together with Seungcheol was gone. So he actually liked someone. And it was obviously not me.

"Oh", I felt sad and depressed but it worsen since I couldn't think of anything to say to make him bright up. Out of an idiotic idea I blurted out, "can I have it?".

Seungcheol looked up, honestly surprised. "What?".

"Can I have it?", my voice started to shake a bit, why did I even asked?

"Ahm...", Seungcheol was about to say something, probably 'no' or 'definitely not', but was interrupted by someone opening the door.

Jeonghan stared over to us, his eyebrows only slightly knitted to see me there as well, "Here you are. Hurry up, you need to see this".

It didn't need much explanation, we were thrilled to act in emergencies. So without any questions we stormed out of the room and followed Jeonghan.

Thought I secretly slipped the bracelet into one of my many pockets instead of leaving it there.
