Hoshi
If you had ever seen a imagined or seen a throne, it was probably huge, made out of cold and had some nice, red pillows that softened your seat from the rough material it was made of.
The throne that had raised from underneath the ground however looked like the nightmare version of your imagination. It was black and Frist I thought this would have been because the metal or stone it was made of had such a dark color. But when I concentrated more on the actual material it was build from, I realized that the black color came from soot and remains of blood, meat and skin. Which were still hanging on the bones, that build that scary and disgusting seat.
The taste of bike filled my moth at the sight of all those human remains. How could someone use what was once a human being to make something so distasteful. I could not even think about the amount of dead people that monstrosity consisted of without feeling an uncomfortable shiver down my spine.
Because of that, the person who was splayed leisurely over the throne seemed even more unrealistic. A cute, little girl laid in the chair and looked down at us. She had a round, pretty face that graced a wide smile and big, sparkling eyes. Her hair was long and wavy and she had bangs that fell into her face and made her eyes look even bigger.
"Hello my little subjects", she waved lazily with her right hand and grinned even wider.
We all looked at her with widely opens moths. Most of us had probably expected a monster or maybe a god or giant, but not that. The girl jumped of the seat and stretched herself. I noticed that she was rather a young woman than a little girl, no matter how small she was and ho harmless she looked like.
"Are you the guide", Vernon stepped to the front and looked at her arrogantly. She nodded. His eyes expression suddenly changed, the arrogance turned into anger and then fury.
"Are you crazy?! You nearly killed us with that stupid stunt of yours". He was at least a head taller than her, but it did not seem to impress her. She rolled her eyes and turned to us others.
"So, you are Heras great troop that will save the world? Meh. You don't really look strong and soldier like", she scanned us one after another. "I guess this is one of Heras stupid games. No matter what, I promised her to help you and if I can find my dad that way I will", she muttered loud enough for us to hear.
"Don't underestimate us! Besides, how much power can you have, you crazy little girl", Vernon growled, "And you better not make fun of the queen of gods again or you will have to deal with greater powers than me".
Oh gods, he did it again. Why did Vernon have to be so horrible in dealing with others. I sight, time for the great Hoshi to save his self-loving butt again.
I shot the girl my most charming smile and hinted a bow. "Hello beautiful lady, my name is Hoshi. Nice to meet you. This rude fellow over here is Vernon. Would you mind telling your name?".
She looked at me for a second and huffed, "Demeter kid, I see. Your mom is annoying. Tried to get my father to drown me for at least seven times".
I was confused, "Your father?".
"Hades, god and ruler of the death and the underworld", she proudly grinned.
Vernon next to me groaned, "Great, she is one of those".
"At least I am not a narcissistic idiot", she glared at him.
