|two weeks later|
I really needed a job, but I was lazy as fuck. It was already half past two and I was just getting out of bed. I walk to my kitchen as mu stomach rumbles. I open the fridge to no food. "Are you fucking kidding me." I mumble.
I walk back to my room and throw on sweats and a sweat shirt before heading to the market. I hated shopping, hated it, but I needed food.
The market was a few blocks away only so I walked. It didn't take me long to get there. I got enough food to last me a few weeks, before paying and heading back to my place.
The bags were heavy but I was strong enough to carry them. I finally got back to my apartment and put them away before making a sand which. As I sit there, eating, there was a light knock at my door and I get up and answer it.
"Oh," I say.
"Well hello to you to Harry." she says and walks in, I shut the door and locked it.
"Why are you here?" I spit.
"I just wanted to apologize for my boyfriends stupid behavior the other night." she says.
"Whatever." I reply.
"Look Harry, I actually am sorry and I want us to be friends because I actually like you." she says, I turn to look at her. Is she serious? She liked me? Is that a joke?
"Yeah, funny good joke Brianna." I say and she frowns, "Look, I was having a nice lunch and you interrupted, could you just leave?" I ask.
"No Harry, I'm serious I want you and I to be friends."
"I don't do friends." I say and walk into the kitchen taking a bite of the sand which I had made earlier. Her footsteps follow me into the kitchen.
"Do you have any friends?" she asks.
"No, and I sure as hell don't need any." I say, with a mouth full of food. She sighs and she sits across from me at the table, taking her coat off in the process. I raise an eyebrow at her, but she ignores me. "Don't you have a boyfriend to get back to?" I question her.
"He wont be back until 7, until then, it's just you and I." she says and leans back into the chair.
"And what if I don't want to be friends?" I ask with a slight smirk as I also lean back into the chair. She smirks back and shakes her head from side to side.
"Then too bad." she says as she starts to play with her nails. I watch her closely, as she picks at them, she used to do the same exact thing. I continue to watch her as she licks her lips before biting her lips as she continues to play with her fingers. "Why do you stare at me like that?" she asks looking up. I break my gaze and look at her in the eyes.
"Like what?" I ask bluntly.
"Like, I don't know you just give me this look and I find it extremely creepy and weird, but kind of cute." Cute?
"Cute?" I repeat and she nods, I laugh, my laughter booming through the kitchen. "You did not just call me cute." I say.
"Get over it, anyways can we be friends now?" she asks. I shrug my shoulders as I take the last bite of my san which. "I'm taking that as a yes! Eep! My first friend in London!" she says excitedly, I roll my eyes and she laughs.
"My first Australian friend." I mumble.
"Lovely, you just considered me as a friend! Were making progress." she says. I roll my eyes. "You actually don't seem that bad, and I'm not mad at you for what you did the other night, he deserved it." she speaks.
