The Dance

Zane's POV

I was sitting at the dinner table with Garroth, Vvlad, and mom. We were having spaghetti tonight. Everything was completely quiet. The only sound was our forks clicking against the bowls.

"So, Zane, do you have a date to prom?" asked Garroth.

"Why do you care?" I asked.

"Because, it's my baby brothers first dance! I want to make sure you have a good time!" Garroth got up and hugged me.

"Garroth..." I groaned.

"Ok, who's the lucky lady? Is it Lucinda?"

"No."

"What about Sasha?"

"Nope."

"Michi?"

"WHAT THE HECK NO!"

"Kawaii~Chan?"

I showed a sly smile and started to blush. "Maybe..."

"I KNEW IT!" Vvlad triumphantly rose from the table. "I KNEW ZANECHAN WAS A THING! I KNEW IT FROM THE VERY BEGINING! I SHIP IT SO HARD!!!!" We looked at him, completely weirded out.

"Umm... I think I'll leave now..." Said Garroth.

"Yeah, me too..." I said.

TIME SKIP TO DA NEXT DAY CUZ I CAN

The night of the prom (still Zane's POV)

Mom was driving me and Garroth over to Aphmau's house to pick up Katelyn, (Garroth's date) Aphmau, and Arron. Vvlad decided not to go to prom, so it was just me and Garroth.

"Gar Gar, could you go ring the doorbell?" My mom asked when we arrived.

"Yes mom!" Garroth got out if the car to go get Katelyn, Aphmau, and Arron.
He soon came back with them.

"So, Zane." Aphmau asked once we were all in the car. "Who's your date to prom?"

"You'll find out..." I replied.

Aphmau and Katelyn gave each other sly looks. We stopped in front of a super pink house. So pink, it hurt my eyes. The girls squealed like crazy once they realized it was Kawaii~Chan's house. I got out of the car and took a deep breath. I slowly walked over to her house and rang the doorbell.

Kawaii~Chan's POV

"Ok, Ok, Kawaii~Chan's coming!" I said. I raced down the stairs and opened the door to see Zane~Kun.

"Hey, KC. Ready to go?" He asked.

"You bet ya Zane~Kun!" I giggled and ruffled his hair as I got inside of Zianna~Chan's car. We just sat there, completely silent.

"Mommy, what's taking so long?" Asked Garroth~Kun.

"I-The car won't start!" Zianna~Chan panicked.

"WHAT." Said Aphmau~Senpai.

"Everyone, calm down. It'll be alright." Said Arron~Kun. The boys all got out of the car to see what was wrong.

"Guys." Said an annoyed Katelyn~Sama. "Kawaii~Chan lives right next to the school."

"Ohh..." We all looked down at the ground for being complete idiots. Everyone got out of the car and we walked through the doors of Phoenix Drop High School, but something made me and Zane~Kun stay outside.

"Is Zane~Kun ready to go in?" I asked.

"Yes. I mean, no. I mean-" Zane~Kun sighed. "I don't know. I'm not sure what people will think of us going together."

"It'll be ok, Zane~Kun. I'll go in first." I told him.

"...Thanks, KC."

"No problem." I took a deep breath and walked into the doors. The gym was beautifully decorated with purple and white streamers and balloons. I checked to make sure that no one was looking. Then I made a hand signal for Zane~Kun to come in. He walked through the door in his tuxedo and gave me a blood red rose.

"Oh, thank you!" I blushed a little bit. Then I went over to the snack table and grabbed a sugar cookie.

Then the music changed from fun pop music to slow ballroom music. It was the moment I had been dreading all night. THE SLOW DANCE. I looked over at Zane~Kun. Even with his mask on, I saw him blushing like crazy.

Suddenly, the door burst open. I looked over. It was a few students, two boys and girl, who were wearing punky clothing.

"Let's crash this prom!" They yelled. The girl pushed through the crowd and changed the music to rock at max volume. Zane~Kun and I both covered our ears. I could hear him saying something, but I couldn't hear him.

"WHAT?"

"I SAID, I HAVE SOMETHING TO SHOW YOU! FOLLOW ME!"
