Zane's POV
I led Kawaii~Chan out of the gym to get away from the crowd. I can't believe the Shadow Knights crashed the prom. Well, I can, they do hate me after all.
"Close your eyes, Kawaii~Chan." I told her. "I have something to show you."
I grabbed Kawaii~Chan's hand and led her to the music room. I looked around for the door, which I found easily. I started to sweat and wonder: Should I really be doing this? Yep. I opened the door.
"Alright KC, you can open your eyes now." I told her.
Kawaii~Chan opened her eyes. I smiled as they widened in awe.
"Wow..." Is all she said. I had taken her to a secret door I had found a while back that led to a balcony with a whole view of the front yard outside of the school. Beyond there was a forest and above, billions of glistening stars.
"I-It's beautiful Zane~Kun." She whispered.
"I found this place a little while back. I thought you might like it." I smiled and leaned on the marble railing.
Suddenly, KC's ears jerked up. "Does Zane~Kun hear that?" She asked me.
"Yeah, I think it's coming from inside the music room."
We both peeked through the window that went back inside to see Aphmau and Arron- wait- APHMAU AND ARRON?!? Okay, wait, at the beginning of the year, they hated each other. Now, they're in the music room. Slow-dancing. Alrighty, this is weird.
"So, Zane~Kun? Do you... Umm... Y'know..." Kawaii~Chan's voice interrupted my thoughts.
"I don't know..." I looked down. "I'm- not the best dancer..."
"Cmon, Zane~Kun, I'm the only one here!"
"Well, yeah, but-"
"No buts! Come on! It'll be fun!"
"Umm..." I was panicking. I didn't know what to do. I stood up and looked into Kawaii~Chan's beautiful, amber eyes. I panicked, and did the first thing that came to my mind. I ran up and... kissed her.
Kawaii~Chan's POV
Zane leaned forward and... Kissed me. At first, I was a bit shocked, but I took it. It was sudden, but suddenly turned calm. Our lips pulled away, and we both had faces of shock.
"I-I'm so sorry!" Zane stuttered. "I don't k-know what came over me."
I decided that it was time to tell him. I couldn't keep the secret any longer. I leaned on the railing. "Has Zane~Kun ever heard the saying: Opposites attract?"
"Umm... Yes. I've heard my mother say that a few times." He replied.
"Well, in this case... That saying is true." I said.
Zane~Kun started to blush. "W-What are you saying?"
"Zane... I... I... Like you."
After about a minute or two of silence, he responded. "Kawaii~Chan... I... Like you too."
