The Party

Zane's POV

One week after prom...

"Gar-Gar, could you please go get the mail?" I heard my mom ask Garroth.

"Sure thing, Mommy!" He said. I heard the door slam shut. Finally, some price and quiet. I loaded up Dungeon Master on my laptop. Maybe KC was online. Before I could check, I heard Garroth yell. "Zane, there's a letter for you!"

A letter? For me? Must be the wrong address. But nope. When I went downstairs, it read: To The Romeave Brothers.

"It's from- Aphmau?" I was a bit confused. Aphmau and I aren't really the best of friends. But, I had something for me on the mail for once, and that was all that mattered right now. I carefully opened the envelope and pulled out a blue card.

The card read:

Dear Garroth, Vvlad, and Zane:

You are all invited to my end of the year party. It's on Friday and starts at 5. Hope to see u there.

So, A girl I don't even know that well invited me to a party. I might as well go. I have no plans Friday night. Maybe Kawaii~Chan will be there. Well, it's Wednesday. Last day if school is tomorrow. Better get some sleep.

Friday, 12pm

"Zane, wake up." I woke up to see Vvlad and Garroth trying to pull me out of bed. I laughed. "Nice try. I'm going to sleep in."

"Alright, fine Zane." Said Vvlad. "Just remember, the party is tonight."

Garroth gave me a sly smile. "And Kawaii~Chan might be there."

I turned pink and sat up. "Ok, I'm up." I growled.

"HUEHUEHUEHUEHUE, come on Zane, mommy's making pancakes."

4:45 pm

I straightened the collar on my hoodie before walking downstairs. "I'm ready!" I yelled.

"Alright, let's go!" Garroth was waiting at the bottom of the stairs.

"VAMANOS!" Vvlad said as he opened the door. (lol I don't even know if that's how u say it😛)

Mom dropped us off at Aphmau's house, which was right down the street.
"Have fun boys!" She squealed before driving off.

Garroth knocked on the door, which Katelyn answered. She was wearing a blue sweater and blue shorts. "You're just in time!" She smiled. "Come on in!"

I walked into Aphmau's house. Man, she had a nice place. I walked over to the counter and grabbed some lemonade. I looked over to see Dante and Travis playing Skylanders on the Xbox.

"Hey." I turned around to see the infamous female shadow knight.

"Oh, Hello Sasha." I looked at her.

"Rumor has it you were one of the freshman who sneaked into prom last night. Is it true?" Her purple eyes widened in curiosity.

"Yep. That's me." I smiled. "A rouge freshman."

She smiled. "Cool."

Kawaii~Chan's POV

I was sitting on the living room floor, playing checkers with Lawrence. I quickly made a double jump. "Beat that."
He had more checkers, but I had more strategy. As Lawrence thought about his next move, Katelyn rushed into the living room.

"KC!" She panted. "We're out of lemonade!"

"On it!" I ran to the garage. As I opened the door, I saw Lucinda~Chan making some star summoners out of chalk. "What is Lucinda~Chan doing?" I asked.

Lucinda~Chan looked up. "Oh... uhh... nothing. Just... setting up... a... party game!"

"Alright, tell us once you're ready!" I grabbed the lemonade and went back inside. I passed Garroth~Kun and Ivy~Chan playing darts.

"Hey Kawaii~Chan!" Garroth smiled. "You want to join us?"

"Pass. Kawaii~Chan is playing checkers with Lawrence~Kun." I responded. "Also, have Garroth~Kun and Ivy~Chan seen Zane~Kun?"

"Oh, Zane. He's over there." Ivy~Chan pointed to Zane~Kun chatting with Sasha~Chan.

I walked over to them both and set the lemonade on the counter. "Oh, hey Kawaii~Chan." Said Sasha.

"Hello!" I greeted.

"Oh, and KC, I wanted to ask you-"

"Guys! The game is ready!" I heard Lucinda~Chan yell.

"Oh! Let's go!" I said as I darted out the door.
