The day had finally come. We were going to tell Alan's parents about the baby. Alan got his laptop and sat it on the 'coffee table' and began calling his mom on Skype. "Alan! Hi baby! How are you?" I heard his mom ask. "Where's April?"

I smiled. "She had to go get something. She'll be here in a minute. Can you get dad?" Alan said gesturing for me to go get the tests. "Sure thing. Honey! Alan and April are on Skype!"

I heard some footsteps and then Alan's dad's voice. "Hey son! Where's my girl?" Mr. Ashby said. "She's right here. We have something to tell you guys," Alan said smiling. I lifted my shirt and held out the test as he turned the laptop to face me.

"AHHHHHHH! YAYAYAYAYAYAY! RICHARD WE'RE GONNA BE GRANDPARENTS!" Mrs. Ashby yelled, grabbing Mr. Ashby and shaking him around, making me burst into a fit of giggles. I pulled my shirt down and say next to Alan, twisting the computer back in place.

"Can I be called PopPop?" Mr. Ashby asked, trying to pry Mrs. Ashby off of him. "Sure dad. Whatever you want," Alan said, smiling. "I WANT TO BE NONA! OR NANA! I DONT KNOW ALAN YOU PICK!" Mrs. Ashby yelled looking back and forth between Alan and I and Mr. Ashby.

Alan started laughing a Mrs. Ashby began rambling about how Jellyfish was going to be her precious baby. "Have you found out what it is yet?" Mr. Ashby asked. We shook our heads. "We want it to be a surprise, so until it's born, we're calling it Jellyfish."

"THAT IS THE CUTEST THING EVER OH MY GOODNESS AW CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS RICHARD?!" Mrs. Ashby yelled, shaking Mr. Ashby once more. "Hardly, Elizabeth."

"Oh, one more thing," Alan said. "We're getting married." I held up my had to show my rings on my finger. "RICHAAAARRRD!" Mrs. Ashby screeched. "I AM SO HAPPY!"

"You picked a good one, my boy," Alan's dad said smiling. Mrs. Ashby was in hysterics now, crying on Mr. Ashby's shoulder.

"Okay son, I'm gonna let you go so I can calm your mom down. We love you. And we love you and Jellyfish too, April," Alan's dad said waving. "Bye, Richard. We love you too," I said, waving back. "Bye dad," Alan said, disconnecting the call.

"I think that went well," I said, smiling. Alan grinned and pecked my lips before laying on the couch, his ear pressed to my tummy. "Hey look," Alan said, holding his phone to where I could see it. It was Adam Elmakias' Instagram. And the picture was Alan proposing to me.

My hands were over my mouth and he was on one knee with the ring in his hands, a big smile plastered on his face. I laughed "I'll have to thank Adam," I said, grinning. "I love you," he said as I handed the phone back to him. "I love you too," I said, my face breaking out into a smile that I knew wouldn't leave for a while.
