Chapter 6: D-Day

Chapter 6: D-Day
Chase's POV
We were all celebrating Bree's bionic return when we finally looked and saw her unconscious. We went over to her to see if she was okay but then she woke up.

"My BionicGPS is going off like crazy!!!" Bree shouted.

"Bree the alarm is only going to keep going if you don't calm down." Davenport said

"Okay, I am calm... The sensor is normal now let's go find D." Bree said.

We followed the BionicGPS. We walked across the field, but then Bree stopped. We look ahead to see a cave. This was the day we were going to find D.
The cave was very dark and wet. Why would anyone live here?

"Guys brace yourselves. We don't know who or what is in these cave walls." Davenport warned.

"Well we know it isn't your brother, Douglas. He still stuck in the ice back a HQ." I said

" That's not entirely true..." Davenport trailed off.
" What do you mean? You said the chemical in the ice froze him indefinitely." I said

"When I said indefinitely... I meant I didn't know when the chemical would wear off, and it did." Davenport said.

"So the enemy that almost got us killed could be in there?" Bree asked

"Hey I am willing to kick his butt again, IT WAS AWESOME!!" Adam said.

I'm ready. If there is another of us in there getting tortured, we need to get them out." Bree said.

We all looked around, and we knew it was time. We all had a big group hug.

" I will be in the car on the other side of the field. Make sure to keep your Comm Sets on." Mr. Davenport said

We all looked into the cave to see if we could see anything but it was pitch black.

"Mr. Davenport what are we going to do?" I said through Comm.

"I know it's dark, Adam turn on your GLOeyes I installed then done last night. It will send a light vision signal to Bree and Chase. It will be like the lights are on." Mr.Davenport said.

We all walked into the cave very silently. Even thought the GLOeyes were working nothing out of sorts was happening. It was just a cave, but then we saw it. It was a logo. Not for Davenport Industries like Mr Davenport would have but the a giant D with electrical circuits running through it.

"We are defiantly in the right place" I whispered.

We slowly moved in, past the big Logo and found a door. I slowly opened the door and I signaled for them to be quiet. The door led to a hallway attached to what looked like a lab. We all walked in and inspected the area. Nobody except what appeared to be a tranquilized body with its face covered.

"You miss us?" a voice said behind us. I knew that cynical voice.

Douglas. We turned around and we found Douglas and Marcus (who wasn't supposed to be alive) standing before us.

"Not a single bit." I said and fired a force field ball at both of them, knocking both of them a few feet.

I ran over to Lab Rat D's cage and started to figure out how to unlock it. Adam and Bree stayed by them to fight. The cages system was triggered with 9 security procedures if it was opened incorrectly. One of them including Throxin H9.1. The mainframe had 23 code on to hack. I cranked up my Super Intellegance to see if I could read them. Meanwhile Adam had thrown Douglas across the room. Marcus fired at Bree with him light green lasers stunning her. Adam fired his Red lasers at Marcus stunning him. Adam ran over to me.

"How long is it going to take you? I don't know how long to be stunned for. Hurry up!!" Adam said.

" I found the mainframe code. Just a couple more seconds I promise." I said

The mainframe code was 23hs7haad10y. The mainframe code would unlock all of the other 23 security locks making me the controller of the cage. I just needed to find the place to insert it, but in the those couple of seconds Marcus had woken and was charging at us. Right when he was attacking us Bree force wind traveled at him. Bree just found out she could send on the energy from her speed. The 350 mph winds sent Marcus flying at a wall behind the cage.
"Mr. Davenport!! I can send my Speed Energy to attack" Bree said over Comm

Just as this happened the cage unlocked.

"Adam, grab Lab Rat D and let's get out!!" I said.

Adam grabbed the masked Bionic Subject and ran. I put a force field in the doorframe so they could come if one of then woke up. Bree took Lab Rat D and sped across the field to the van.

We were all in the van. We were all anxious to see if it was a boy or girl. Bree was just praying for a girl. Couldn't blame her. Adam and I wanted a guy who could help us prank Bree. Leo wanted a guy who liked him and was smaller than him. Like that was going to happen! Mr Davenport took off the Bag on top of Lab Rat D's head and we found out it was a... Girl.
She looked to be around 14. She had brown hair similar to Bree's. She has bruises all over her body. Talk about abused.

"YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!" Bree said

She didn't wake up the entire car ride. Bree just anxiously stared at her.
"Bree, she probably has a mind lock on. She won't wake up until we can get her back to the lab." Mr. Davenport said.

"What's a mind lock?" Bree asked

" A mind lock is a state we are in when Bionic people have had to many upgrades. He was probably trying to make her a super soldier." I explained

"Okay, so what is her name going to be?" Leo asked.

" Well since she might not know any names you guys can help her pick one." Davenport said

"I like Hailee" Leo said.

"No. Ones that start with a D like Adam is A, Bree is B and I an C." I explained to Leo.

" I want to suggest Delilah" Adam said.

"That's stupid. She looks like a Denise" I butted in.

"Guys! She is going to get Nerdified with those names. Demi is a cooler name." Bree said.

" Nope! You guys might be bionic but she'll chose Darcy. Who gets to chose the middle name?" Leo said.

"Middle name?" Bree wondered.

" A middle name? It's like your secondary name but part of your full. Mine is Leopold Francis." Leo said.

" HAHA! Leopold!" Adam said, elbowing me.

"What's ours?" Bree said.

"Well I never thought you might need them but they are in Chase's internal memory card." Mr. Davenport said.

"Sweet!!" Adam said.

We spent the rest of the car ride home trying to come up with names for Lab Rat D. Every once in a while someone would shout out one.

"How about Darleen?" I suggested.

"Chase, stop coming up with names of my Grandmas." Leo said.

"How about Dalia Quincee" Adam suggested.

"Eww no!" Bree said.

"Guys, lets just wait until we get home. I know Tasha will want to pitch in." Davenport said.

When we got home Adam carried her in and rested her in Bree's capsule.

"I'm planning to have her capsule next to yours Adam. We will take out the rock climbing wall and put a capsule in." Davenport said

" Eddie start a Bionic Scan on Bree's capsule." Davenport said.

"K! Done. Print out on West Printing Machine." Eddie said.

We all looked at the machine and nothing happened.

"Hahahaha!! Made you look. It's in your CyberDesk." Eddie said.

Bree Super Sped over to his desk and got it.

It read:

"She has some serious power! What does it mean by Atom Builder" Leo asked

"Since atoms make up everything, I guess she can make things from atoms!" Davenport said

"Wow!! What's the Bionic Electricity?" Bree asked

" It like energy so you can use your bionics. It is also fueled by confidence, mood and if your healthy. Yours is usually in the 85 percentile." Davenport. said

"So how are we going to wake her up?" I asked

" We just let her rest. She was getting upgraded a lot so it put her into a 'bionic coma'." Davenport said.

"Let's go watch a movie." Adam said

" I wanna stay down here. She will be so confused" Bree said.

We all went upstairs to watch a movie while Bree stayed to be an explainer. I know why she stayed. She was happy she wasn't the only bionic girl anymore.
