Chapter 15; Meet Tasha
Delaynee's POV

When I woke up, Adam and Bree were up. I knew what they were thinking, I didn't even have to read them. I was thinking it too.

I walked out of my capsule to see that Bree and Adam were talking to Mr. Davenport. It wasn't a regular conversation that you could hear them 10 floors up. They spoke in hush tones. Bree noticed me and they stopped talking.

"Is it true what you did yesterday?" Mr. Davenport said, approaching me.

"What?" I said

I did a lot of stuff yesterday. Breathed, blinked, walked, Defeat Chase... oh.

"Back talked to Chase and made him look stupid?" Davenport said.

"Yeah, why?" I said.

"Well your usually timid and shy. Maybe something clicked or it's a new app." Davenport.

"Maybe she harnessed the confidence of her Rage App and came out confident without being a crazy animal" Adam said.

We all looked at Adam.

"Did that just come out of your mouth?" Bree said.

"OH MY GOSH I did!" Adam said.

"Well he might be right!" Davenport said.

"If only Chase was hear to see it!!!" Adam said.

It all went dead silent. Chase...

"Well I'm very proud of what you did. You saved them." Davenport said.

"Wait, he's complimenting her... something is up." Bree said.

"Its... nothing." Davenport said, he was getting slightly nervous.

"What is it?" I said.

"Tasha is coming home today." Davenport said.

Everyone gasped. I had heard how Tasha reacted when she first found Adam, Bree and... Chase.

"What's so bad. She's probably used to this... science stuff. What did she say when you told her?" I said.

"I didn't..." Davenport said.

Another gasp made his huge lie. the size of Mount Rushmore.

"Well on that note, let's train!!" Leo said.

So we did. Was Tasha that bad?

After training I was exhausted. I flopped on the couch upstairs. I was breathing so hard, I felt like my lungs were going to pop!

I was drifting off to sleep, when I heard an earthshattering, ear splitting scream. I woke up and found a lady screaming. I didn't know what to do so I ran. I didn't want to expose my bionics to the lady. I ran to the lab where Davenport and Bree were talking.

"RANDOM LADY ALERT!!!!" I yelled

"Eddie! Pull up the Living Room!!" Davenport said.

The living room pulled up. The lady was freaking out.

"That's Tasha..." Bree said.

"What?! That's Tasha. Oh gosh! I gotta go fix this." I said.

I thought about teleporting upstairs, but I didn't want to scare her even more. Mr. Davenport emerged first to the ballistic Tasha. I hid in the corner only peeking out a little bit.

"There was a 14 year old girl in our living room!!" Tasha shrieked

"Tasha, I think you'll want to sit down." Davenport said.

Tasha stared right at me and her eye got all twitchy.

"It's her!!" She growled.

She pointed at me and tried to attack me, but Davenport held her back.

"You can come in." Davenport said.

I walked in slowly and stood by Davenport. I wasn't taking any chances.

"This is Delaynee, she's bionic. My brother held her captive." Davenport said.

"Oh my..." She said.

She stood up and put her arms around me. I freaked. I shoved her off.

"Delaynee, that's a hug." Davenport said.

"Sorry, never had one." I said, and I hugged back.

Davenport left us to get to know each other.

After the awkward situation, I got to know Tasha a little bit. I enjoyed the little distraction of being away from all the drama. Then I realized, she didn't know about last night.

"Tasha, there is something you need to know." I said.

"Wait! Can I see you bionics, so I don't freak out when you do something FREAKY?!?" Tasha asked.

"Okay." I said.

I first Geo Leaped. She was happy that I showed her. Then I shapeshifted into her. She had an annoying pimple that I could feel. I showed her the plasma electricity. I took a little anger out on her lamp.

"Those are the main ones but I still..." I said.

"Wait, if Adam the strongest, Bree is the fastest and Chase is the smartest, what are you." She interrupted.

I had honestly never thought about that. It all made sense in the end. But what was I?

" I don't know. Maybe the most powerful. I seem to have the most main bionics. Now back to what I have to say." I said.

"Oh yeah! Sorry!" She said.

I took a really deep breathe. I looked into her eyes. The ones that thought she had two good sons.

"Last night, we were captured. Chase had double crossed us. It's just Adam, Bree and I. We don't know how to rescue him." I said.

It took a lot of weight off my shoulder, but the weight was put on Tasha.

"You know what, you didn't betray us. I think that deserves pizza!" She squealed and she ran for the phone.

I finally had a family.
