Chapter 10- Fighting in the Dark Pt 1

Delaynee's POV

Life at the good Davenports was confusing with the little videos I saw in my mind. The really disturbing one was Adam and Chase taking Bree and I's chips out. Bree was the only person I trusted. I couldn't even trust Davenport. What if he was just like his brother?

Davenport was told about the Euphoria that Chase could cast and they had it disabled until training, because he was more focused on me. Endless hours of training in Martial Arts. I even chose Tonfa to study, just like Bree. I still had to learn Bo Staff. I hated it. I kept hitting myself.

I never trained with the rest of them because they were years ahead of me. It's so cool watching them do fancy moves like Tornado Kicks and 360s.
Davenport had finally gotten my capsule installed next to Chase's. It was weird sleeping standing, but I got the best sleep ever. Bree and I would always chat with the CapChat in the capsules so we wouldn't wake Adam up. Let's just say he didn't like waking up earlier than he should...

But today I finally got to train with Adam, Bree and Chase in Bionic Attacking! We were going to fight each other with out bionics (they were scaled down to half the power.)

Bree was defiantly excited! We had a plan to beat down Chase. Of course Bree would do most of the heavy lifting.
The time had come. Were about to train as a team. Bree was already down there in with her training gi. I had a couple of Bree's old ones. It's the only clothes I really got to wear since I was training alot!

"What if the nuts squirrels eat are peanuts? Does the peanut butter come squishing out?" Adam asked Chase when they came out of the elevator.

"No Adam, they grind... I am not going to even try any more!" Chase said

"Guys get in your capsules so I can temporarily turn down you bionics so the Monday of '09 doesn't happen again." Davenport said.

"What's that?" I asked while I walked to my capsule.

"Let's just say full-scale Forcefield balls and Lasers don't mix well." Bree said.

We all walked into our capsules and stood still while the capsule's energy to fire up. For a split second my view of the Lab was blocked and I felt a slight heating in my chip. The Lab came into view but it was dark. I tried to open my capsule door to see what was going outside. I heard a beep and the familiar voice of Leo came on

"Guess who's playing "Use your bionics in the dark??" Leo chanted.

I rolled my eyes. This was the first time that I was going to do it! At least I had the Night Visions App!

"First round, Adam and Chase. Oh by the way. Don't get any strategies Bree and Delaynee! We are covering your capsules!!" Leo said, then a screen covered my capsule.

When I was figuring out what to do, Bree sent me a CapChat.

Bree: In the dark? I am going to get beat up!!!!

I felt bad for Bree, but worried for myself. I was facing her! I could hear Adam and Chase clunking around. I didn't know what to say to feel better, I was fighting her next. I would be kind of cool to show her up...

Delaynee: Try your best. Does Davenport have Night Vision goggles???

Bree: Idk. I don't pay attention to that tech junk.

Luckily I did. Davenport was testing these prototype glasses with Xray, Thermal, Imaginative (seeing things that aren't there) and Night Vision.

Delaynee: I have an idea. I am going to Geo Leap out of my capsule and get some goggles Davenport is working on.

Bree: YOU'RE A LIFESAVER!!

I Geo Lept into the Lab and turned on the Night Vision App. Chase was looking for Adam. Adam was on top of the CyberDesk prepping to fire his heat vision. I quickly got out of the line of fire. I found the glasses and transported into Bree's capsule. Let me just say that bad idea. We were squished...

"Was this your best idea?? Oh I will just go into her capsule and squish her! Just give me the glasses and go!" Bree said.

"Sorry geez! I was just trying to help..." I said.

I shoved the glasses in Bree's hands and teleported out of there. When I got my capsule, I cried. I didn't know it would be too big of a problem. The capsules look plenty big. I guess I am just learning how to do things.
Bree sent me a CapChat and I stupidly looked at it with tears still in my eyes.

Bree: OMG! Sorry I am just sooo stressed! Thanks for the glasses :))))

I couldn't be mad at Bree. She was the only girl I knew! I haven't even met Leo's mom yet!
I heard Adam's capsule unlock and he went into it. Oh great! My turn...
