Chapter 19.5: Parallel Universe... again Part 2

Leo's POV

Lunch had come at just the right time. My stomach felt weary from only have a bite of his mom's delicious food. Now he had to eat disgusting school lunch.

It wasn't the normal heavy salty air that I knew, it actually smelled... AMAZING! Line and lines of some of my favorite food.

I got some salmon and coleslaw!!! I scanned the room for someone to sit by, even though I don't know who 'Parallel Leo' was friends with.

I found an empty table close to the vending machines. I sort of knew I was supposed to sit there. Weird, huh?

I was halfway through my coleslaw when a really cute girl sat next to me. ME?!?! She was shortish with Amber curly hair. She had also gotten the salmon but with a wedge salad.

"Hey Leo, are you up for some tennis in free period. I only have the Algebra assignment." She asked.

Last time I played tennis I hit myself with the racket more than I hit the ball, by a LARGE margin.

"Yea. Sure."I said, slightly unsteady

After eating in silence for a little bit, Adam came and sat down with us

"Hey Alicia, are you up for fro- yo after school?" Adam asked.

So the cute girls name was Alicia. Even better.

"Uhh YES!" She said.

"Leo you want to tag along?" Adam asked.

I didn't think my mom said anything about chores or anything after school.

"I'm in." I said and I felt happy that I had some actually after school plans!

I saw someone go up for seconds so I did too. I couldn't find the salmon so I some cheese filled breadsticks and marinara sauce from the Garden Club Garden. YUM TIMES 100.

When I went back to the table, 2 guys had joined the table. One guy had tanish hair and sort of muscular. The other guy I knew. He'd been the guy with the best smile since I came to Mission Creek. His name was Camden. I never had any classes with him, but everyone told me he always smelled.

AN: Camden is Bradley Stephen Perry, Alicia is Alison Stoner and the tan haired guy is Garret Clayton :)

And sadly the only empty spot was next to him.

I sat down, ready for the worst and then I smelled roses. I looked around for actually roses. Then I realized it was Camden.

"And then he barfed all over my little sister!" The tan haired guy said

Everyone laughed and I nervously followed along.

We all dumped our trays and went back to the classes. Alicia and I both worked on the assignment.

"No! X goes with 34 not 12!" She said.

I was really confused. In my universe I didn't take Algebra 2, I took Intro to High School Algebra.

"Ok! X is going with 34!!" I said and put it with the 34.

With a few more confusions and laughs we finally hit the tennis court. I was surprisingly good. I only whacked myself once!

The rest of the day went by pretty smoothly. I had creepy Bree in only one other class. I am seriously going to have nightmares of her.

After school, I walked to YoGurtZone with Adam and Alicia. When I got there, we were the only ones there beside the girl behind the counter. We all tried tons of it. Caramel, chocolate, Oreo Fudge you name it. I ended up getting the Cotton candy one with marshmallows.

We sat down in a secluded booth. Alicia and Adam were talking about some state test coming up. I ate really fast so I went up to grab seconds. I just grabbed plain vanilla. The girl at the cash register rang me up and I went to go sit down but when I went back...

Mr. Davenport was sitting where Adam and Alicia were.
