Chapter 2: Reunited

Peridot had finally made it to her friend's house but she was still a bit flustered from what happened earlier. But she soon turned from flustered to excited and anxious as she climbed up the steps of the porch of her best friend's house. She knocked on the door and was greeted by a shocked girl.

"P-pe-peridot!" said a teenage girl with blue hair. She was bit taller than peridot with pale skin and blue eyes that matched the color of the ocean. " I missed you so much. What are you doing here, aren't you supposed to be in Empire city." The blue haired girl said as she pounced on peridot giving her a big hug and as she she'd a few tears too.

"I've missed you to lapis. And we just moved back here from Empire city." She answered returning the hug.

"Really, that's great! I'm so glad you're back."said lapis as she released her from the hug and pulled her into the house. "I have so much to tell you over what happened since you moved to Empire city. A lot has changed while you've been gone."

The two girls made they way through the house, while stopping to greet lapis parents, to the staircase and up to lapis bedroom. The walls in her room were blue actually almost the entire room was blue, her bed sheets the walls, the lamp on nightstand and her computer was also blue. Peridot sat down on the bed and lapis followed the younger girl's action and sat infront of her and broke the silence

"Okay so we're do I start"

As amethyst walked down the street to the big donut her mind was full of the girl she 'ran into'. I wonder if I'll ever see her again. What was her name again? Umm, peri......peri.......ah Peridot! Amethyst was so caught up in her thoughts that she didn't notice that she had made it to 'the big donut' and was already inside standing at the cash register."Amethyst" said a girl at the other side of the register, she has blonde hair that goes up to her shoulders and was around amethyst height, her name tag said 'Sadie'. Amethyst didn't respond. "AMETHYST!"shouted Sadie.

"Huh? Oh, hey Sadie." Amethyst said snapping out of her thoughts.

"You okay, Ame, you kinda seemed spaced out there." She said

"Yeah, I'm fine I was just thinking, hehe." Amethyst said a little nervous.

"Yeah sure, It's none of my business so whatever, what would you like?"she replied.

"The usual" Answered the lavender haired girl. "Hey where's lars?"

"He left early" Sadie replied. "Here you go, that would be $10.72." She said handing a box of donuts.

"Thanks and here" she said taking the box of donuts and handing her the money. "Bye, see you in school tomorrow" amethyst said as she walked out the shop and headed back home eating a few donuts along the way.

"WHAT?!?!" Screamed peridot in total shock. "Your joking, right?"

"Nope" she said popping the 'p'. "It's true, Jasper and I are friends now"

"Jasper. The Jasper that used to bully us in school everyday. How is that possible?" Asked peridot.

"Yup, that's the one. Well steven somehow managed to turn her into a good person instead of a bully. I don't know how he does it but he always seems to bring out the good in people." The blue haired teen answered.

"Yeah ,he does. He even was the one that got us become friends. It was a strange method but it worked." Said peridot.

"Yeah who knew looking two people up in a barn for 2 days, would make them become best friend's." Lapis said. "At least he left us with food and water because if not one of would have gone crazy and ate the other."
