A/N POV

Peridot sat at the bench next to the entrance to the park but there was a bunch next to it so you can't really see her. She just played with her phone while waiting, soon Amethyst came walking in looking around for Peri; Peridot saw her and put her phone away and snuck up behind her, grabbed her shoulders and said: "sneak attack!" Amethyst, by instinct, grabbed Peridot arm and threw her to the ground.

"Aah!" She yelled as she hit the ground. "That's some reflexes you got." The blonde said in a groan while sitting up and rubbing her back that was now soar.

"Oh sht, sorry P.." She stretched her hand towards her to help her up, Peri took her hand and when she got up and looked at Amethyst, they locked eyes and stared in to each other's eyes for a few seconds, but what felt like an eternity, they looked away and Peridot quickly let go of her hand and took a few steps back a little flustered ("damn it, I barely know her, but still I can't help but, feel, some strange... feeling.") Peridot thought to herself and didn't know what to call what she was feeling towards Amethyst so just ignores it.

"Ahm, yo, dude you okay there?" Amethyst waved her hand in front of Peri's face trying to get her attention. The green eyes girl shook her head and looked at purple haired girl "Huh? Oh yeah, why?" 

"You kinda zoned out there for a sec." She just shrugs her shoulders and hands her a bag with donuts. "Here ya' go nerd. Fresh from the "Big Donut", just for ya'"  She says with a heart warming smile.

"Oh thanks, I'm not really hungry right now." Peridot just awkwardly smiles by grabs the bag. "Should we go over to the fountain and finish your drawing?"

"Sure, after we're done with that wanna go somewhere?" They walked next to each other. "Hm, I'm not sure, I should notify my mother I will be arriving later than expected." Peri took out her phone to text her mother.

"Do you have to tell your mom everything you're gonna do?" She smirked looking at her from the side of her eye as Peridot texted. "Yes, indeed, I don't want to worry my mother and she also has a schedule of all my activities, diet, and meetings with my psychologist" She didn't even lookup from her phone.

"Whoa, damn, do you have any freedom or for you do anything you want or have says just for yourself?" She was kinda surprised by all that, she just stared at Peridot, how had stopped walking to think.

"What do you mean by that? Im out here with you today, isn't that enough freedom?" Confused as to what Amethyst means.

"Well ahm yeah but I mean, don't you ever just get to go out and just do what you want to, without a schedule or any of that cr*p." They started walking again and sat at the fountain now just talking.

"I used to, back then when my father was alive, but it doesn't matter" She sits straight but strict, looking at Amethyst with a smile but kinda forced. "Just do that drawing of yours."

"Jaha first of just relax dork, it's not a picture for your profile for the military or something, just be you, and give me that genuine dorky smile of yours, when those be- nerd eyes shine as if you just saw the new chapters of your favorite comic or fanfic or something."

"Oh like the next chapter of Camp Pinning Hearts! Oh I love that series! It's the best I can go o-" Peridot got lost in rambling about her favorite series that she forgot what they were supposed to do, so Amethyst hushed her with.

"Ok that's enough Peri-winkle. Just keep that smile and look at me." Peridot stays still smiling all happy and giddy thinking about Camp Pinning Hearts.

HALF AN HOUR LATER

"All done nerd!" Peridot sighed relieved. "Finally, let me see!" The green eyes girl smiled and got closers to Amethyst leaning on her trying to see the drawing but Amethyst hid it. "Woah Woah relax" She stood up and should her the finishes drawing, it's was Peridot, but it looked a little different, in Peridots opinion it was prettier than what she actually is. "It's just like you, isn't?"

"I don't know, it actually looks better than me, I'm not so... pretty"

"What? Of course you are, I drew you exactly how I see you."
 
[aww she thinks she's pretty- oh sh*t I'm ruining the story, sorry xD oh well v: let's get on with it]

The blonde blushes at what Amethyst said. "O-oh.. t-thank you, jehe" She scratches her chin a bit and smiles sheepishly. "My mom said I can stay out for a bit more, but not too long, because I have to go see my personal trainer."

"You got a personal trainer? Damn girl, you don't need one if ya' got me." She winks at Peridot and laughs. "So how much time ya' got?"

"About an hour and 23 minutes, precisely"

"Perfect!" Amethyst put her stuff away quickly and grabbed Peridot's hand pulling her down the block. "Keep up nerd!" They sprinted down a few blocks down town, far away from where Peridot usually goes around, this is the part of town she was forbidden to ever go unless it's with her mother, who made sure to stay far away form there. "Ahm, Amethyst, where are we going?" Peridot was dead nervous and, she hated to admit it, scared.

"Come on, nothing to worry about." They were still holding hands and by instinct Peridot grabbed a little tighter her hand, Amethyst hold it firm and reassuring, not really wanting to let go. "We're here" Amethyst knocks a few times on the door in a odd pattern. Peridot read the sign on the building, it read: "The Kindergarten", on Beta street, the sign on the building was old, rusty and look kinds lose, the building seems to have been abandoned for centuries.

Peridot was just about to ask what they were doing there but just then the door opened, a tall girl with dark black hair, with shades, kinda similar to Amethyst actually. "Welcome back A" the girl says and looks at Peridot. "Who's she? A knew friend? Or another "girlfriend" of yours?" She points at Amethyst and Peridots hands entwined together. "What happened to the last one? Got boring? She doesn't seem your type"

"That's enough Sugi! She's a friend. I don't want to ruin her dorkiness and I don't want you to mess her up either, I just want to show her a good time."

"Whatever you say A, come on in. Oh I'm Sugilite by the way" She moves out the way to let them in.

"I-im P-peridot" Amethyst had let go of her hand already and Peridot just stuck close to Amethyst instead.

"Nice to meet you P-peridot haha"

It's been like, what? A year since I've updated? XDD

sorry guys, life seriously got in the way *cofcofandwritersblockcofcof* Damn that's a bad cough I got there. Welp let's see if I can do weekly updates, no promises though.
