Chapter 5: New Friends

Narrator

Peridot was walking down the hallway to her locker until she was stopped.

"Hey cutie" said a familiar voice.

"Goodmorning citrine, nice to see you again. What brings you by?" Peridot asked with a little blush.

"Just wanted to say hi to my friend. We are friends, right?"

"Fr- friends." She said with stars in her eyes. "Y-yeah of course"

"Cool. So you want me to give you that tour now or during lunch."

"Tour? Oh right the tour around the school. Well I got some time until class starts, so right now would be good choice, let me just get my stuff from my locker, okay?." Citrine nodded her head in agreement. They walked to peridot's locker, and she got everything she needed for her first period. "Okay im ready let's start the tour, shall we".

"Okay. So this is the music room and I guessing you already know where the gym and cafeteria are, right?" Peridot nodded in reply.
"Heh of course you do. Well down there is the indoor pool where the swimming team meets up and practices. You know I'm on the swimming team maybe you can come watch me practice, maybe."
She asked a little nervous.

"Umm maybe" Peridot answered completely oblivious. Citrine smile widened. Then all of a sudden someone came running towards citrine.

"CITRINE". It was topaz she jumped on citrine, making her fall back, while holding on to her in a tight hug.

(Ignore the names, but the amethyst is citrine and peridot is topaz,)

"Sorry hehe, hi citrine". She said in her usual cheerful tone, but she then saw peridot and got jealous. "Oh hi. You're Peridot right?" She said forcing a smile.

"Oh let me introduce you guys". Citrine said standing up. "Topaz this is Peridot, Peridot this is Topaz my best friend in the whole wide world." She said as she picked topaz up and twirled her in the air. Topaz face was completely red. Citrine put her down and gave her kiss on the cheek. "We've been friends since pre-k and we live next to each other too."

"Yeah hehe, so what were you guys doing." Topaz said as she looked to the side trying to hide her blush. Meanwhile peridot just awkwardly stood there an watched.

"I was giving peridot here a tour around the school." She said as she put an arm around peridot's shoulders. That made Topaz even more jealous.

"Okay. Hey shouldn't we head to class the bell gonna ring soon". Topaz said hoping that that would be good enough excuse to get citrine away from Peridot.

"Oh, you're right, huh, I guess time flies when you're having fun. Well we better head of. Where's your homeroom, peridot." Citrine said not letting go of peridot.

"English"

"Oh that's where we're heading. Huh how did could I forget that the wonderful and adorable peridot is in my class." Asked citrine said that topaz fury grew.
