Chapter 10: Making Plans

Narrator

The movie finished. Amethyst was still asleep on Peridot's shoulder, she didn't want to wake Amethyst up and she also liked it.She liked having Amethyst there, she thought Amethyst looked so peaceful and content and also she thought she looked pretty cute, even though Peridot won't admit it. But they had to leave the movie theater, so she had to wake Amethyst up.

"Amethyst, hey, Amethyst wake up." Peridot gently said to Amethyst, trying to wake her up, but no avail. Garnet stood up and went towards where Amethyst was. Garnet cleared her throat before speaking.

"Amethyst, food!" She said quite loudly, but it worked.

"Food! Where?" Amethyst sprung to her feet, she looked around for any sight of food but saw nothing other than the popcorn that was on the floor. "Heyyyyyy, you tricked me." Amethyst huffed, crossing her arms.

"It's worked, didn't it?" Garnet's said with cheeky smile.

"Yeah, but now I'm hungry." Amethyst said clutching her stomach and acting like she's dying of hunger. "So...so..hungry. Need. Food. Now. Ugh." She laid back ok the chairs acting as if she passed out, but her head landed back on Peridot's shoulder who was sitting there the whole time.

"Well get up and we'll get something to eat." Jasper said a bit annoyed.

"Okay"

As they where walking out the movies, Jasper comes up to Amethyst and says " You faked it, didn't you."

"What are talking about when I faked died of hunger of course I did." Amethyst answered a bit confused of why Jasper would ask that.

"No. I mean when you fell asleep on Peridot's shoulder during the movie."

"No, I just got bored and blacked out that's all." That was a lie and she knew Jasper knew could tell when she's lying or not and she  especially knows when Amethyst is asleep or not.

"Yeah right, I know when you lie Ame's and if you where really asleep you would have been snoring so loud you would have gotten us kicked out of the movie, and you don't wake up that easily, even if someone mentions food you would have been groggy and moody." Jasper explained. Amethyst was caught and she knew it.

"Fine, you caught me yeah I was."

"I knew it, but how come you did it though do you like her or something." Jasper asked, Amethyst looked at Jasper and Jasper wiggled her eyebrows at her.

" No I don't, it just felt right." Amethyst said thinking back to the feeling she had when she was with Peridot and pretend sleeping.

"Okay, hehehe" Jasper chuckled to herself at the thought of Amethyst and Peridot dating, she thought they make a cute couple.

They left the theater's and went to go get some ice cream. Pearl didn't want to go at first cause of her diets but decided that a bit of ice cream couldn't hurt. Peridot got mint flavor, Amethyst got chocolate, Pearl got vanilla, Garnet got the special that was called raspberry and blueberry fusion, Jasper got rocky road, lapis got sundae and so did Citrine and Topaz got a banana, chocolate  mix. Peridot and Amethyst were the first to order so they went ahead and choose a place to sit. Peridot decided to start a conversation.

"So when can we finish that drawing?" Peridot asked, she was very impatient and wanted to see the drawing but Amethyst won't let her until it is complete.

"Huh? Oh, well. I'm free tomorrow, how 'bout you?"

"Tomorrow is sounds good, what time?"

"Hmmmmm. Like around 12:30, we meet at entrance of the park."

"Okay great." Peridot's phone started ringing. "Oh it's my mom, excuse me." Peridot went outside of the ice cream parlour to talk with her mom.

(Y. D stands for yellow diamond)

Y.D: Peridot, where are you? It's getting late.

Peri:  I'm at the ice cream parlour.
I'll be home in a few.

Y.D: okay, be safe honey, love you bye

Peri: bye, mother, love you too.

===End of phone call===

Peridot goes back inside, and to the group,who had all their ice creams.

"I have to go home, sorry guys, bye." Peridot said, she was about to turn around when Amethyst stopped her.

"Wait! Let me walk you home since it's getting pretty late and all. Just to make sure you get home safe 'cause it's not safe walking all by yourself in the dark." Amethyst said.

"Yeah, sure why not." Amethyst grabbed her ice cream, and so did Peridot, and got up. They said their goodbyes and left.

Sorry for cutting this chapter a bit shorter than usual but I wanted to get this up by today (even tho it's 12:30 am) for Amedot_life as the other special thing, but I only get inspired to write at night, like at 10 o'clock is when I start getting ideas of what to write next and when I get motivated to do it and as much of it but I'm tired (I literally fell asleep while writing this). And I saw a couple of people left a happy birthday to Amedot_life on her message board, thanks for wishing her a happy birthday and that's why I wanted to get this chapter up today for her birthday.
